TRINITY BPiiCOPAL CHURCH Gold Star Mothers Added To Honorary List In Past Month At the October meeting, of the Iredell County Chapters of American War Mothers, held yesterday afternoon, in the First Presbyterian church eleven gold star mothers were added to the list as honorary 'members.

The eleven arc mothers of sons killed on battlefronts from North Iredell since the chapter's meeting in September. This report was' given by Mrs. R. 0. Dellinger.

gold star chairman. Because of the inclement weather a small attendance was recorded. It was announced from the local chapter five members would attend the state meeting of War mothers next week in Raleigh. They are: Mrs. Robert Bunch, president of the local chapter, Mrs.

H. P. Grier, Mrs. J. F.

Henninger, Mrs. J. E. Bryant, Mrs. R.

O. Dellinger. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday and it is expected some of the group wHl attend both days. Mrs. Cora Mills displayed the beautiful afghan just recently completed by members of the organization.

It will be sent to a government hospital. Mrs. Pou To Attend National Home Demonstration Meet Mrs. W. C.

Pou will leave Monday for Chicago, where she will meet with the National Home Demonstration Council. She is a southern director of this organization. The meeting is slated for Thursday and Friday. Mrs. J.

H. Miller, of Marion, state president, will join her, going as a delegate from North Carolina. While away, Mrs. Pou will attend the meeting of the National Master Farm Home-Makers, whicn is in session in Chicago next week also. Rev.

Gabriel entertained at a bridge party last evening at the home of Mrs. Thampson, honoring Mrs. John L. Laws, a recent bride. Lighted tapers among autumn leaves and chrysanthemums were decorations In the home.

Four tables were set up for the game and at the close of the game the high score awards were sented to Miss Ila Chambers, Mrs. Lester Alexander, Mrs. Ethel Harbin and Mrs. Jim Riser. prizes were in turn given to the honor guest.

The hostesses gift to Mrs. Laws was crystal in her selected pattern while the remaining guests showered her with linen, china and crystal. A salad course, coffee and individual pumpkin pies, were served in the late evening by the hostesses. PERSONALS Mr Mrs. W.

Sharpe and little daughter, Beatrice Wrenn, have returned from the Baptist hospital, in Winston-Salem, and are at their home on Feimster street. Mrs. Errett G. Childress of Portland, Oregon, will arrive here today to spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. A.

E. Guy, and Mr. Guy. Enroute to Statesville, Mrs. Childress stopped off in St.

Louis for a short visit with relatives. Mrs. Clyde Alexander is leaving, tomorrow for a visit of severaf weeks with her daughter, MM. John Kimmons and Sergeant Kimmons, at Bainbridge, Mrs. P.

L. Coleman and her daughter, Elizabeth, accompanied by Mr. Coleman to Hickory Thursday to attend the Shrine Ceremonial and visit relatives. Mr. Coleman's mother, of Dunn.

N. who had been the guest of her son in Hickory the past week returned to Statesville with the Coleman's and will visit here for a while.
