WHILE REHEARSING for Tuesday's matinee Miss Howard received a telephone call that her mother was seridusly ill in Missouri, and she was on the next flight for her bedside. But, Peggy Little charged to the rescue, arriving in time to out with that big voice ot hers. CURRENTLY SHE has her latest number, "Sugar Man," pn the charts, and her career is beginning to climb. She gives all the credit to THE MAN up above for the good things that are happening to her. "He's what it's all about," she admits confident- Around her neck hangs a pendant with the words "One Way" overlaying an arrow that points up.
