By MABEL FRENCH, (Society Editor) Vacation days, the time when persons throw aside all cares and worries and enter Into a. spirit of wholehearted recreation has arrived, and AU attraction which strikes a popular chord with visitors and residents alike js the list of pleasure rcsorte and beauty spots available in Montana. Only a short distance from Butte are found scores of camping places or resorts where visitors may lounge, fish or dance, and many have been taking advantage of these facilities lately.

Yellowstone and Glacier National parks which are two of the greatest attractions each summer for sightseers, nttr--'- ing visitors from Butte. The Columbia Gardens pavilion was the scene of one of the most attractive affairs of the season last veiling, when the Butte Business College Dancing club closed its so- -lal season with a June promenade. The lounge and dining room of the Anaconda Country club provided a lovely setting for the assemblage of approximately 100 for the perfectly appointed luncheon of Thursday to mark the second ladles' day of the summer season. Delightfully diverting was the series of parties last week arranged by the Guardians' association of the Anaconda council of Camp Fire Girls and Miss Marie Conley, executive.

The parties were held In the large lounge of the new lodge, located near Silver late, Monday and Tuesday afternoons. They met with much popular favor and on both days no- host, club groups and small parties enjoyed the contract, auction and pinochle games. Tempting refreshments were served by the Camp Fire Girls after each day's play. Monday afternoon score honors went to Mrs. F.

E. Amthor, Mrs. Elmer Beninger and Mrs. Scheu. Tuesday afternoon score favors were won by Mrs.

The home of Miss Genevleve Russell on West Park avenue was scene of a merry gathering Monday evening, when a group of friends called to honor Miss Russell on her eighteenth birthday.
