Wasco for Celebration of 40th Anniversary Homecoming WASCO. April "life be- forty" is certainly being realized around Wasco at the present time. The activity and confusion will assure anyone who visits Wasco May 9, 10 or 11. the time of his life at -Wasco's sensational Fortieth Anniversary and Homecoming celebration. The program includes a V.

F. dance, a community and civic pa- rado. a barbecue, a rodeo put on by the Wasco'Future Farmers, a breakfast flight for all pilots in the state of California, and an air show. Kenny Baker, noted bandleader, Is acting as general manager, and John Hawk is the general chair- nan as well as the president of the Wasco Chamber of. Commerce and Agriculture.

Some of the performances on the program are Gene Gray, Silver King of the Cowboys: Dixie Gray, Allen Ross, Dorothea Kent, star of stage and screen; Johnny Sonney and his trk-k horse and dog, Sammy Mason and his Hollywood Hawks and many others. More than 200 horses and mounts have been scheduled for the parade on May 10. and refloat entries have been received.
