BY ELMER DOUGLASS. Coming like a prearranged prelude to Mother's Day, the Apollo Musical club gave seven choral numbers from WMAG) studio Saturday evening. Yes. there's one right here who wishes he could pass the entrance examination to this classic organization. -41.

Toward the cloes of his morning sermon at Central church. Dr. P. F. Shannon read a simple telegram addressed to a mother.

At the moment. I'd rather have been author of that telegram than President of the United States. How effective, at times, these little sympathetic touches! FES3ENDEN. the Chicago Moffett Photo.) Woman's club Fortnightly, Colonial Dames, Founders', and Patriots' club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Woman's City club, and the Antiquarian society. During the Harding campaign Mrs. Fessenden originated the drawing room meetings held all over the country and spoke at many of them. Besides books, poems, and magazine articles, she wrote many songs for children, composing much of the music herself.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Peck, she leaves two sons, A. C. and Benjamin H. Fessenden.
