He came to Chicago in 18SS and established the Bureau of Inspection. Tests and Consultation, which later became Robert W. Hunt Co. In 1912 he was awarded the John Fritz medal for his contributions to the early develop ment of the BessemeV steel process, and last June was given the Washington award by the various societies also in recognition of his achievement. Capt.

Hunt was a member of many clubs, including the Chicago, Mid-Day. Saddle and Cyclevond the South Shore. Glen View, and Chicago gelf clubs. He is survived by his witfow, Mrs. Eleanor Hunt, to whom he was married in 1S66.

Funeral services will be hfld at St. James' Episcopal church, C66 Rush street, at 11:30 a. m. tomorrow. Interment will be at Troy.

Among his later successes was the famous old song, "What's the Good'of Hanyfink, Why Noffink." Chevalier was not alone a singer of Coster songs, although it was by those that he is best remembered.
