Dalesandro testified Wednesday in Stark County Common Pleas Court. Dalesandro, charged with murder along with four, others in the deaths of three Massillon firemen, testified for the state Wednesday in the trial of Myron Tilton, 35, and Gary Thompson, 32, both of Canton before a panel of three judges.

RESTAURANT owner Louis J. Battista and manager Joseph R. Paone are awaiting trial by a jury in the same three deaths. Dalesandro was on the stand for more than three hours as he told.on direct and cross examination how he, Thompson and Tilton obtained the materials and set the fire for a promised $6,000 which was to be split three ways. Dalesandro's testimony detailed the following events: He was approached by Tilton and Thompson in late July at the Southgalc Shopping Center parking lot about "torching a Massillon restaurant." During the meeting, at which Mike Scott was also present, the disappearance of Tilton's brother Jim was also discussed.

Jim Tilton is still Tilton later set the $6,000 price and claimed the owner could go no higher because of a large mortgage. A $500 prepayment was then made. Dalesandro and Thompson purchased 210 of the five- gallon jugs from a Cleveland firm using the name David Stewart and a Canton address.
