Flannigen was put on the stand to controvert the testimony of Charles A. White in connection' with street Car legislation and the defense called Faulkner and Bailey to sustain Says White Sought Revenge. Plannigen said the reason White introduced a b11 providing heat and toilet facilities for employes upon suburban cars was because of his desire to get even with the railroad upon which he had served as conductor and against wh.lch he had a grievance. He admitted he had talked with the attorney for the roads, and that this attorney objected to the bill aid spoke to him against White and his motives. The witness did not think White wanted money in connection with this Bailey said he was the author of the heating end of the White bill and some one else originated the provision relating to tolets.
