Pat. Oft.lc night, 1936, by Imago Tribune-N. Y. Nears radirate, Inc. MAMA FILES SUIT TO VOID WEDDING OF MARY BELLE Attorney Mary Belle Spencer filed suit in Superior court yesterday seeking an annulment of the marriage a week ago of her daughter Mary Belle, 16 years old, and J.

Edward Wright, 21 years old, of 1181 Isa avenue, Chicago Heights. The couple were married in an elopement to La Porte, Ind. In her bill Mrs. Spencer alleges the marriage should be voided because her daughter is a minor and not- of legal age to marry without the consent of her parents. The bill charges further that young Wright is suffering from tuberculosis and therefore was guilty of perjury when he swore in obtaining the marriage license that he was not afflicted with the disease.

Mrs. Spencer's efforts to annul the marriage came after her husband, Dr. Richard V. Spencer, had urged her to leave the kids alone." Yesterday Mary Belle and her husband were reported staying at the home of the elder Both were quoted as saying they would fight any attempt to annul their marriage. Like Amount Bequeathed by J.
