D. F. Cavanah returned from his trip to Texas on Monday. During his absence Mr. Cavanah visited the Panhandle and is pleased with the general appearance of the country.

He states that steam plows were turning over the soil and every, traction engine was followed by six and seven plows. Land is selling $13 to $30 per acre with higher prices ruling nearer towns.
