Women's federation installs officers at convention here The Montana Federation off Women's Clubs ended its threeday session in Butte Saturday night with the installation of officers. The group met at the Finlen Hotel for its 22nd biennial convention. Some 237 delegates and visitors attended. Pickup ramspump station at Georgetown A pickup truck took out. approximately 16 feet of the brick wall of the Anaconda Georgetown Lake pump station on Highway 10A in a spectacular one-vehicle accident shortly after 10 Friday night, sheriff's officers reported. Willard F. Lovell of Anaconda was treated at Community Hospital for minor cuts and bruises. He was admitted for further examination and observation.

Lovell, driver of the 1960 model truck, told investigating officers he was east bound and lost control of the vehicle on the highway shoulder after the right front tire burst. He was taken to Anaconda by a passing motorist. Shortly after the accident, Dwayne Allen, an employe of Anaconda Disposal, rolled a coal truck on the highway at the scene. Allen told officers he swerved to avoid colliding with a truck parked on the highway with the lights on, lost control and rolled the truck onto its side. He escaped injury.

Sheriff's officers and Highway Patrolman Richard Peterson investigated the accidents. KPAX-TV goes on the ether Montana's newest television station, which rebroadcasts programs from KXLF-TV in Butte, went on the air Saturday.
