Kenya (AP) Fighting broke out in Rwanda's capital today after the presidents of Rwanda and Burundi were killed when their plane was apparently shot down. 7 Members of Rwanda's presidential guard also kidnapped three Cabinet ministers and three U.N.

Both Rwanda and Burundi have been wracked for decades by fighting between the Hutu and Tutsi ethnic groups, one of Africa's most savage ethnic feuds. Gueye, speaking by telephone from thd Rwandan capital Kigali, said there were reports of house-to-house killings and that the city's streets were empty except for small, quick-moving groups of youths armed with machetes and clubs.
