Graveside Service 11 AM today, Greenwood West Cemetery. Services entrusted to Scales Fu- neral Home, Vickie Birdsong FRANKLIN James Preston Hess IV passed away on Friday, No- vember 3, 2017. He was 28 years old.

He was preceded in death by his grand- father James P. Hess and grandmother Joan T. Hess of Knoxville, grandfather Tal- madge Riddle, grand- father Clarence Jack- son, and uncle Edwin Greenwald. Preston leaves behind his father, Dr. James P.

Hess III, mother Den- ise R. Hess, sister Me- linda Evans Green and her husband Justin Green, grandmother Ruby R. Jackson, great aunt Martha Hess of Knoxville, aunt Dol- ores Greenwald, uncle Fred P. Hess and aunt Donna Hess of Knox- ville, as well as cousin Molly Hess Shaw of Columbia, SC. Preston was a kind and caring person that loved his family and friends.

He made many friends during the course of his life making a profound impression on them all. He will be missed by his extensive family and all who loved him. No doubt he is making friends in heaven now. James Preston Hess IV NASHVILLE A.K.A. Robert Knight passed peacefully on Novem- ber 5, 2017 at the age of 77.

A very loving devoted father. Robert was born in Franklin, TN. on April 21, 1940 to the late Jessie and Irene Crowder Pee- bles. Robert is preceded in death by his devoted uncle and aunt Bradley and Arlena Crowder Baugh, son Robert H. Jr, daughter Pamela Dickson and his five siblings.

He is survived by sons Antonio Peebles, Nashville, TN, Damon (Renee) Peebles, White House, TN. daughter Chikena (Quincy) Crittendon, Decatur, AL. 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. A host nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Very Special Friends Lula Dansby, Buzz Cason, Mac Gayden, and Lawrence Jackson and family.

Public Viewing Sunday 1-4 pm. Visitation Monday 12-1PM with funeral to follow at funeral home. Rev. Norman Roland, Eulogist. Interment Greenwood West Cemetery.

Thomas West Hospital in Nash- ville, Tennessee; he was 59 years old. Mr. Bess, preceded in death by his father George Bolton Bess, is survived by his mother Mrs. Dorothy Irene Frizzell Bess; his wife of 33 years, Mrs. Leshia Batson Bess; son George William Bess (Chelsea); brother David Todd Bess (Jana); nephews Chris Hopkins and David Bess; and nieces Andrea Webb and Kayla Bess.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, De- cember 2, 2017, at the Bellevue Church of Christ. George Timothy Bess BRENTWOOD Age 77, formerly of Jackson, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017, just one day after his 77th birthday. Jesse grew up in the Jackson, TN area, graduating from SSHS in 1958.

After living in Knoxville, TN for several years, Jesse settled his family in the Nashville, TN area. Jesse spent the major part of his career with Chris-More, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Hund- ley Hudiburg; daugh- ter, Martitia (Chris) Symington; son, Mark (Leisa) Hu- diburg; 6 grandchil- dren; 8 great grand- children; sister, Jeanine Metzger; brother, James Hudiburg. Jesse Walker Hudiburg NASHVILLE Robert (Bob) Allen Eskew, 92, of Donelson, Tennessee passed away on November 10, 2017. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Jane Peery Eskew, his parents John William and Fruzie Northern Eskew, Brothers John William Eskew and Thomas David Eskew, Sisters, Francis Northern Es- kew, Geraldine Eskew, Helen Willette Eskew Major, Edna Josephine Eskew, Tish Ann Eskew Howard. He is survived by sons Robert Douglas Eskew and Daniel Peery Eskew, Daughter-in-law Mendy Willis Eskew, granddaughter Stella Jane Eskew, grandson Harris Robert Eskew of Atlanta, GA. Bob was born and grew up in Lebanon, Tennessee and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1943. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1946.

He then attended and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and received his Degree in Education from Western Kentucky University. At MTSU he was Editor of the school newspaper and a member of Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He was a career educator. He started his career teaching and coaching football at Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee. He then moved to Miami, Florida where he taught and coached football at Hialeah High School for 8 years.

In Miami he met Jane Peery. She was from Nashville but was teaching school at Hollywood, Florida Elementary School. They dated for three months, were engaged and then married in Nashville in June of 1958. They moved to Donelson, Tennessee and there he started teaching at Two Rivers High School. He was then Assistant Principal at Central High School, DuPont High School and then was Assistant Principal at Two Rivers High School and Principal at Two Rivers Junior High School from 1974 through 1991.

He took great interest and pleasure in hearing from former students and faculty members from throughout his over 40 years in education. He was a long time member of Donelson Church of Christ and a former deacon. A better Christian man, a better Husband, a better Father or a better Grandfather there has never been. His life was centered on his Christian faith, his love for his wife, his children, daughter-in-law, and his Grandchildren. Spending time with or talking about his beloved daughter-in-law Mendy and grandchildren Stella Jane and Harris brought him great joy and made his final years very special.

He was a man of impeccable integrity, totally selfless, soft spoken yet a terrific leader who lead by his actions. He set the example of how to live a life. Visitation will be Sunday, November 12 from 2:00 5:00 p.m. at Wood- lawn Roesch Patton. Funeral service is Monday November 13 at 11:30 a.m.

at Woodlawn Roesch Patton. Robert Eskew HERMITAGE Age 72, November 9, 2017. Michael struggled with his health for decades and will be remem- bered as a strong fighter and a high spirited man. He served his country in Vietnam as an aircraft mechanic on C-130 aircraft. He worked for Sycamore Terrace Retirement Community for over 30 years.

He was a mem- ber of the GWRRA Chapter A. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Wal- ters. Survived by his children, Michael Wal- ters Mary Annette Chambliss; grandchil- dren, Brittany Walters Preston Chambliss; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Grace Turner; and other siblings. Funeral services will be conducted Mon- day, November 13, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at WOODBINE FU- NERAL HOME, 3620 Nolensville Road, by Deacon C.J.
