Tuesday's dally. Some important opinions were handed down from the supreme court in Nashville this morning when the Montgomery county cases were reached HOSE V8. COUNTY, In the much-discussed case of Wiley Rose vs. Montgomery county, better known as the "Ferry Case," the court affirmed the decision of the lower court, which holds that the action of the county court was right, toi fixing the rate of ferriage. In the case of Cherry Sanders vs. the Gracey-Woodward Iron the decision of the lower court was damages in the sum of $1,250. This was a case of bodily damages sustained by Sanders at the Louise ore mines In 1S93, for which suit was brought for several thousand dollars.
