Sitaler and Ralph R. Webster. Dr. Reynolds graduated from West Virginia University in 1925 with Bachelor of Sclence Degree. He completed his medical training at the Dr.

University of Maryland Medical School in Baltimore, graduating 1927. He was a member of Phi 7:15 Kappa Sigma, a social fraternity, and of Phi Beta Pl, a medical frare- ternity. Upon completion of hls studies at the Onlversity of Maryland he served his interneship at. the University Hospital in Baltimore, being successfully resident surgeon In charge of gynecology and resident surgeon in charge of obstetrics, He began the practice of medicine at Cumberland in September of 1928 J. in the offices once occupied by Dr.

Wm. P. Twigg on South Centre Street. He shortly after removed his offices to the Medical Bullding where he continued to practice until his He was member of the AlleCounty Medical lety. serving 3 number of terns as secretary.

He was also a member of the Medico-Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, the American Medical Association and was a past presiW. dent of the Memorial Hospital Staff. and Jessie Knight Reynolds. His parents were both members of prominent Mineral County families, and among his forebeurs were men of who had in public and professional life. His grandfather, Judge F. M. Reynolds, served many years as judge of the circuit court, and his father prior to his death, WAS regarded 35 a leader of the Mineral County Bar.

His brother, Lester Reynold, Is a former prosecuting attorney of Minoral County. Dr. Reynolds was married to MisA Evelyn P. Bang of Lincoln. Nebraska, on March 1, 1930 at Cumberland.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Ann and Frances C. Reynolds. Dr, Frank M. Wilson, speaking for the local Medical Soclety, sald: "We are deeply grieved by the death of Dr. Reynolds.

He held high pince in the esteem and affeclion of his fellow practitioners. He was modest man and endowed with talents' far beyond the usual or ordinary in the practice of suYLery and obstetrics. He neither looked for nor expected praise for the unusual skill which he displayed at all times in his work. He belleved that every patient was entitled to the best he could give. He was conscientions every respect, and devoted al! "of his time to his fession.

His practice was large and extended throughout the Tri-State! area of Maryland, West Virginia and led heavy burden upon him. Cross Charles W. Cross, 62, died yesterday afternoon at his home on the Hazen Road after an Illness of two years. He had been and O. crossing watchman for several years and prior to that was employed as a trainman for the Western MaryRailway and at the KellySpringfleid Tire Company. native of Cumberland, he was son of the late John and Nellie (Fagie) Cross.

He was a member of Cumberland Aerle, No, 245, F. O. Eagles for 40 years and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Besides his widow, Mrs. Bessie May (Ridenbaugh) Cross, he Is vived by five daughters, Mrs.

Grace Smith, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Lucy Aldridge, Mrs. Rose Emerick. Mrs. Mildred Van Sickle, all of Cumberland and Miss Dorothy Cross of Los Angeles; two sons, C.

L. Cross of Akron and Richard Cross of Bedford Road. Fourteen grandchildren also survive, Drs, Mary L. Allen Mrs. Mary L.

Allen, 35, wife of August Allen, died Friday evening in New York City. Born in Somerset, she was the daughter of Louis P. Soterakos, North Centre Street confectionery operator. The body will arrive here early today and will be taken to Steln's Chapel where services will be held at a time to be announced later. In addition to her father and husband, she 16 survived by two sisters, Mrs, George Parsenios, this city, and Mrs.

James Gabriel, New York City, and a half sister, Delores Solerakos, this city. Stefano DeStefano Stefano DeStefano, 65, John Street, Ridgeley, died yesterday morning in Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Wednesday. He operated a grocery business in Ridgeley since 1936. Mr. DeStefano was born in Casscro, Naples, Italy, a son of the late Stefano and Felicia (DeSena) DeStefano.

Coming to this country in 1903, he was a former tailor in Now York City. He came to Ridgelcy in 1917 and worked as boilermaker's helper tor the Western Maryland Railway until 1922. Later he went to work in the blackmill department of the KellySpringfield Tire Company plant here and remained there until 193G when he opened a grocery store. Mr. DeStefano was a member of Anthony's Catholic Church, Ridgeley, and the Piedmont Sons of Italy.
