Bridge Groups LULAC Jlimpr Council Dried State Meet Here Weekly rating point game winners are announced by Las Cruces Duplicate Bridge Club. In north south movement, placing first were Mr. and Mrs. W. J.

Little; second, P. J. Panos and Dr. J. E.

Aylor; third, C. L. Winchell and C. R. Keding.

East west winners include: first, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Cromer; second, E.

J. Craig and W. H. Bender; third, Mr. and Mrs.

W. A. Dunaway, guests of the club. The next play is scheduled at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Las Cruces Country Club.

All interested in duplicate bridge are invited to join in. say club members. Las Cruces Duplicate i Club's membership is open to all. Final plans arc being made by Junior Council No. 53 League of United Latin American Citizens which i host the first New Mexico Junior LULAC Conference Saturday and Sunday.

Registration will he held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Mission Inn. Registration fee is S7 per person. The banquet is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Las Cr'jces Boys' Club, 330 W.

Las Cruces. Guest speaker will be a i Lewis Iron. El I'aso, who is past national Junior LULAC president. Another speaker will be Raymond Apodaca, a graduate from New Mexico State University, who was the first president of the Junior LULAC Council. A swimming party is planned to follow the banquet at a Cruces Gvm Swim.

Vigil and Miss Sheryl Lynn Budwine recited vows in a double wedding ceremony May 31 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph Schill performed thc double ring riles before an altar adorned with baskets ot yellow and while gladioli. Parenls of Viola and Orlando are Mr. and Mrs.

Joe L. Vigil, 307 Kay Lane and Frank is thc son of Mrs. Minnie Sanchez, Las Cruces. Sheryl's parents are W. J.

Budwine of Carlsbad and Lu- dic Budwine, El Paso. Mr. Vigil and Mr. Budwine gave their daughters in marriage. The brides wore floor- lenglh gowns of similar design of silk organza over taffeta, thc molded bodices having scoop necklines and long tapered sleeves.

Sheryl's gown was accented with lace while Viola's bad lace at the neckline. Each bride wore a shoulder- length veil held by a crown adorned with jeweled flower and each carried a bouquet of i chrysanthemums. Viola's matron of honor was in charge of the gucsl books. After a wedding trip lo Carlsbad Caverns and poinls in uorlh- crn New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs.

Frank Sanchez are now al home at 1026 Organ View, Apt. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando R.

Vigil are residing at 440 Reeves Drive after a wedding trip lo Ruidoso and northern New Mexico. Among wedding guests were Mr. and Mrs. R. C.
