Troop 4 entertained their mothers at a Christmas party. Beverly Hess, Margaret Poster. Janice LeBlanc and Eleanor Kast were invested, at appropriate ceremony, and presented with their Scout pins by their leader.

Miss Lennie Pate. Games were played and gifts were- exchanged. Of special Interest were two small guests, who were outfitted with clothing, shoes and toys. Refreshments of sandwiches, cookies and tea were served. The girls also enjoyed singing Christmas carols on Christmas eve, at various as well as attht St.

Nicholas Girls tree. The following girls are members of the troop: Frances Lee, Doris Wolfe, Pat O'Connell, Beverly Goodnight, Joan Owsley, Kathryn Wright. Nancy Smith. Betty Smith. Vera Pyle, Yvonne Merritt, Janice LeBlanc, Ann Olander, Ruby Mad-sen, Doris Otteson.

Joanna Clarke, Merle Suggs, and Alice Stevens. a Week End Dane Brig hie Holidays In Pensacola Dances still highlight the holidays, that of Sigma Nu last evening at the San Carlos hotel taking its place as one of the outstanding affairs of the season, to be followed by a number of equal distraction. Among dances for the younger set is that of the Faustina club, which ib entertaining this evening at Sanders Beach, their gitest list including several hundred members of the high school and collegu set.

Saturday evening several big dances are scheduled. At Sanders Beach Tri Decca Sans is entertaining the high school and college set with their anpual holiday dance. A Floridatown the Monarch's ball of Zelica Grotto takes place, at which time the retiring monarch will be honored. The usual weekend dances at theltfaval Air station twill add brightness to the weekend. Open House Christmas day added to the holiday entertaining at the station and the New Year Eve Ball wtOl be an unusually large fiffair.

Already many table reservations have been made for the New Year Eve dance at the Country club. The entertainment committee urges that all who expect to make table reservations, do so at once. A number have also made reservations for dinner at the club. Others will have an early dinner at home and will makt table reservations at the club for their parties. A late svpper will be served, buffet style, aCter midnight.

Students from other colleges who wish to attend may secure their invitations irpm any member of the Pensacola club. Squadron Party Friday Evening At Mustin Beach Officers' 'Club -v "I r. i x' Richards Memorial Young People To Entertain Tonight The Young People's department of the Richards Memorial Methodist church, are entertaining this evening at 7 :30 o'clock with a party, -which brings an interesting contest to its close. Members the losing team are entertaining the winning team an entertainment program and refreshments.

1 Kmdergartners Entoftain With. Cnristmas Fete The little kindergarten pupils of Miss Lennle Pate who are having a week's holiday, after a busy Christmas season, presented a. beautiful Christmas program of song from station WCOA recently. Monday they enjoyed a party at the school. Gifts were received from the Christmas tree.

Each little girl was the recipient of a pretty set of dishes and each little boy received a building set. Refreshments of Ice cream and cake were served. Christmas eve they entertained a large audience at a local theatre, at a special matinee, when a program was given. First scene, "At Home on Christmas with appropriate stage setting, was presented" by the following children: Bert Warr, Bobby Warr, Joan Herrington, Skipper Sweetser, Theresa Maloy, Teddy Martin. The bride wore a smart tan suit with brown accessories, with talisman roses. Mrs. Humphreys was in chic black ensemble with contrasting corsage. Miss Green was in soldier blue with black ac-cessories and Miss Odom wore a gown of the same popular shade, with wine accessories. Their" flowers were pink chrysanthemums.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ethel Gipson. Mr. and Mrs. Harris are making "their home at Revere Court, West Pensacola.

ONE OP--THE RECENT parties which have complimented brides-elect, was that at which Mrs. Max de la Rua, entertained, complimenting Miss Dorothy Johnson whose marriage to Rev. Marvin Lewis of Red Level, Ala, takes place New Year's day at the First Methodist church.
