Gavin is plaintiff as administratrix of the credits of the late Joseph Patrick Gavin The action originally slated for first tria'l of the two week term, brought by the State of Yoi against Percy Faulkner for recovery of ftat-e Health I penalties, was moved to the middle of the court's calendar. It also was changed from non-jury to status. Mrs. 6. Cartwright, Town of Allen, Dies After Brief Illness ANGELICA Mrs.

Grace Sylor Cartwright, 75. wife of Austin C'artwright, died early Sunday morning at Warsaw Hospital alter a brief illness. She had been a resident of the Town of Allen and area for several years. Born in the Town of Granger. Aug.

Ifi. 1884. she was the daughter of John and Nellie Closser Sylor. She was married to Mr. Cartwright Doc.

24, 1902. Surviving are her husband, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Thomas Cole and Mrs. William Backes, both of Nunda, and two grandsons. Ronald' and Clarence Cartwright, both at home.

23, 9 a.m. 51, Noon '56 J. M. Young, Ulysses, Dies; Funeral Riles Tomorrow at Home ULYSSES John M. Young, 75, a retired farmer and lifelong resident here, died at his home Sat-' urday nit'ht.

He was the son of! Rawson and Carrie Merrick Young. Mr. Young's wife, the former Pearl Eddy, died in 1933. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. i Caroline Baker of Alden, Mrs.

Betty Morley of Genesee and Mrs. Grace. Montgomery of Olean; two sons, Ross and Reed of Ulysses; 15 grandchildren and' 5 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Van Etten and Mrs. Dorr Lehman, both of Ulysses.

He was a member of Ulysses Masonic Lodge and the Gold Grange. Funeral services will be conduct- eel at the family home at 2 p.m. tomorrow by the Rev. Revere Per-1 kins and' Rev. Arthur Mencely of; Gold Union Church.
