DRS. THE EMINENT OPTICIANS, Of Louisville ARB AT Hotel Escambia, WHEEE THEY WILL BEMAIN. -A FEW DAYS. Having had many years experience with a large practice all over the South, they are enabled to re lieve those persons having any ailment ef the eyes causing pain and imperfect sight. The Doctors will examine your eyes and fit them with suitable glasses.

In the rapid progress of science and scientific invention for the past ten or fifteen years, much has been done to discover the real cause "of loss of visual power in both young and old, and much has been learned and means discovered to remedy the defects of the eye by the use of glasses. Spectacles should be used when ever the vision becomes in the least impaired, either by day or night. Common spectacles should not be used under any circumstances, as the light is unevenly refracted, and in such cases the eyes fail very rap idly, whereas, if Brazilian Pebbles or the Finest Crystal lenses are proper ly ad justed, the eyes will not only see perfect, as in youth, but are strength ened and preserved. In all cases of imperfect vision and headache caused thereby, a perfect spectacle will give Relief. To eyes tired, weak, painful, diimm ed or blurred, they offer a strengttf-ening rest and refreshment.

In other words remove the cause of the diffi culty, and the eyes will have their original brightness, beauty and health. It requires professional guidance even when the best article is offered as the eyes are frequently dissimilar, and many require com pound lenses. Many persons use glasses of too great a refractive power or too strong a magnifying power, sup posing tney see better, or to econo mize that they may not hold the type so far away from them in so short a time this i3 entirely a mistake. As this causes the cilary muscles to relax, causes a hardening of the Crystalline Lenses, and you will have to change for still stronger Lenses in rapid succession and lose the power of accommodation, or lose the power to adjust your eyes to the different distances, consequently you will have to wear glasses from near and distant yision. This can be avoided by using spectacles of proper focal power.

When you are buying dress goods or clothing, you use every precaution to secure "good goods;" why not take the same or greater care when you are buying food? Quality, rather than quantity; for your money, should be your rule. Yen can 4get stuck" on "shoddy" groceries well as on "shoddy" goods. Don't do it See that the quality of everything you buy to eat is of the best it's the cheapest in the end. Purity is of more consequence than cheapness which, after all, is often equivalent to inferiority. Every article kept in our stock and the variety is unequaled anywhere is guaranteed to be of the best quality.

We never buy "job lots," or inferior goods, because we can get them cheap. We cannot afford to do so can you? We keep nothing that we cannot conscientiously recommend; and we never want the time to come when we will be ashamed to meet a customer face to face because we have sold him, or her, something inferior for "THE BEST.".
