Alden Anna Dye BELLE FOURCHE Services for Anna Dye, 95, will be at 1 p.m. Tues-day at Frost Sons Funeral Home in Belle Fourche with the Rev. Bill Spyker officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Slope Cemetery at Belle Fourche.

A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Dye died at her home Saturday. She was born Sept. 5, 1891, at Greenville, 111., to James and Emma Ward.

She attended school in Greenville, then worked as a seamstress, timekeeper and a supervisor at the Greenville Glove Factory for six years. She homesteaded in Carter County, and, while proving up her government claim, met Leon Dye. They were married at the Ward home In Greenville May 1, 1918, and ranched in Montana until 1947. The couple bought a farm in Illinois In 1947. In 1954, they retired and moved to Belle Fourche, where they became members of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Floy Washburn and Virginia Dye, both of Belle Fourche; a sister, Nell Paulding of Greenville; a brother, Horace Ward of Boulder City, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Dye of Albion, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957; two sons; a sister; and a brother. Services for Everett Vernon Ram-bow, 78, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. David Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behrens Mortuary in Rapid City.

A memorial has been established to the Diabetes Fund. Rambow died Saturday at the Fort Meade Veterans Administration Medical Center at Sturgis. He was born May 11, 1908, at Frederick, to Frederick Charles and Amanda Rambow. Rambow served with the 4th Calvary from 1928 to 1931. He married Nettie M.

Caton Aug. 16, 1931, in Rapid City. He lived at Rocky Comfort, for a short time, then moved to Sturgis and in 1942 moved to Rapid City. Rambow worked as a carpenter until 1973, when he began working as a maintenance engineer until retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No.

25 A.F.A.M.; the 4th Calvary Association; Fort Meade Museum Association; was an honorary member of the Black Hills Mineral Society; and was a past vestry member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Nettie of Rapid City; a son, Charles of Sturgis; two daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Hobbs of Austin, Texas, and Mrs. Wayne (Esther) Parks of Rapid City; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Edward Duane Hobbs.

City, area More obituaries on page BS Geneva Strand SPEARFISH Funeral services for Geneva Jeanette Strand, 63, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Jolley-Evans Memorial Chapel in Spearfish with Chaplain James Forbes officiating. Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the South Dakota Cancer Society. Mrs. Strand died Friday at Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish. She was born June 27, 1923, at Beresford, to Frank DuBrall and Selma Westling. She attended schools in Beresford.

On Nov. 19, 1946, she married Gordon Stewart Strand at Sioux City, Iowa. She spent most of her life in Beresford before moving to Spearfish in 1970. Mrs. Strand was employed by Black Hills State College from 1978 to 1985.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon of Spearfish; three daughters, Mrs. Eric (Judi) Rothgeb of Denver, Mrs. Don (Nancy) Luhrs of Fort Morgan, and Sue Strand of Austin, Texas; four brothers, Napolean DuBrall of LaMirada, Calif, La Verne DuBrall of Alhambra, Donald DuBrall of Bell Flower, Calif, and Paul DuBrall of Phoenix, two sisters, Mrs. Blanch Bremer of Vermillion and Mrs. Aileen Huff of Alhambra; one grandchild; and her mother, Selma Westling DuBrall of Alhambra.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. Arnold J. Rogen Services for Arnold J. Rogen, 90, Rapid City, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Lake Campbell Lutheran Church at Volga with the Rev.

Erwin W. Brandt officiating. Burial will be in the South Lake Campbell Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Rogen died Sunday morning at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He was born April 5, 1896, at Barton, N.D., to Erick and Mary Rogen. He grew up in Lake County, where his family homesteaded. On June 19, 1928, he married Signe Skoog at Sauk Rapids, Minn. They farmed in Lake County until moving to Detroit in early 1930s. Returning to the Volga area in 1945, they farmed until retiring in 1962.

The couple lived in Volga until moving to Rapid City in 1985. Survivors include a son, DeVaughn of Seattle; a daughter, Mrs. Verlyn (Karen) Hammerstrom of Rapid City; a sister, Emma Simons of Seattle; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife; and one son in infancy. Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City is in charge of arrangements.

deaths Arthur F. Moore ELM SPRINGS Services for Arthur F. Moore, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Elm Springs Community Hall with the Rev. Phil Morrison Sloat officiating.

Burial will be in the Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Behrens Mortuary in Rapid City and one hour prior to service at Elm Springs. A memorial has been established to the Elm Springs Church.

Moore died Saturday at a Rapid City nursing home. He was born May 4, 1898, to George and Katherine (Allert) Moore, at Elm Springs, where he was a lifelong rancher and farmer. On Oct. 29, 1922, he married Blanche Owens at Rapid City. They ranched near Elm Springs until they retired in 1965 and moved into Wasta, later moving to nursing homes at Sturgis and Rapid City.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Wasta. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Gravatt of Elm Springs; four grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; a sister, Marge Ager of Crawford, and a brother, Frank Moore, Redondo Beach, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 17, 1975; a son; a sister; and four brothers. Vance Alexander SPEARFISH Graveside services for Vance Alexander, 71, will be at 2 p.m.

Tuesday at Bear Butte Cemetery at Sturgis with the Rev. Robert Vessey officiating. Friends may meet at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Klnkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.

Alexander died Saturday at Sturgis Community Hospital. His body was cremated. He was born June 29, 1915, in Meade County near Vale to Charles i and Linnie Belle Alexander. He was i raised and educated in the Vale area. Alexander married Lorraine Wolff March 4, 1936.

They lived in various places and returned to Meade County in 1945, where they farmed. They then moved to Stoneville in 1948, where they ranched. In 1953, the couple moved to Upton, and in 1954, Alexander went to work for Black Hills Power Light Co. He retired in 1980. In 1982, the couple moved to Spearfish, where they had lived since.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Alexander of Spearfish; a son, Duane Alexander of Upton; two daughters, Anna Belle Bell of Cedaradge, and Mable Alexander of Cascade, a sister, Linnie Mae Merritt of Spearfish; 13 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. and help CrrTIi Ji- cv i I KADOKA Funeral services for Olive E. Alden, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Kadoka with the Revs. Gary McCubbin and Eugene Bushnell officiating. Burial will be In the Kadoka Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Rush-Woodall Funeral Chapel of Kadoka and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. A memorial has been established to the Kadoka Cemetery Association. Mrs. Alden died Saturday at the Belle Fourche Long Term Care Center.

She was born July 5, 1899, in Platte to Pearl and Iantha (May) Weekly. She was raised and educated in the Platte area. In 1916, she married Orville Alden at Armour. The couple ranched in the Wanblee area for many years before moving to Kadoka in 1960. Her husband died in 1962.

Mrs. Alden resided in Kadoka until moving to live with her daughter Myrtle Ramey in Belle Fourche in 1984. She moved to the Belle Fourche Long Term Care Center in 1986. Mrs. Alden was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kadoka, where she participated in many activites.

Survivors include one son, Mahlon Alden of Belle Fourche; five daughters, Letha Miller of Wheaton, 111., Ardel Summers of Mason City, Iowa, Myrtle Ramey of Belle Fourche, Joy Davidson of Granby, and Lyden Larson of Baraboo, 17 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
