Each child received a gift at Christmas. Kindergarten through the third grade children were presented with Little Golden books, and the upper grade children re-: ceived automatic all gaily wrapped. Individual groups sored by the school are the school Boy patrol, Junior cadets, Cub scout Pack 5, and two Brownie groups. The sixth grade receives recognition dinner. A kitchen for use of all school! groups and activities' was.completcd during the past year with the installation of a new cabinet sink.

First Methodists To Observe Family Night "The Second Look," by Nora Stirling, a one act play cicaling with a typical family with outside interests, will be presented at the First Methodist church family night Wednesday evening following a covered-dish dinner at 6:15 in the church dining room. This play, written especially for the family, was first presented by Northwestern university, Evanston, at the third national conference on family life of the Methodist church in Chicago. Reed Wallace, the director, is also inciuded in the local cast composed of Miss Rita Jones, Charles Baughman, Miss Donna Fisher and Miss Ilona Pumphrey. The Rev. Robert R.

Dieterich, pastor. will serve on stage. The Rev. Forest Carter, associate pastor of First church, will lead the devotional period and B. L.

Harmelink, the hymn singing. The Tower choir of the church, under the direction of Mrs. Fred Wilson will sing three selections. "The Fairest Lord Jesus," "Jesus Loves Me" and "He Has the Whole World in His Hand." Miss Ann Wilson will be the accompanist.
