-Mrs. William Marsteller will be the hostess for the January meeting of the Women's Missionary society of Centre Presbyterian Sunday school. The session will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Mrs." Dale Marsteller, Mrs. Edgar Scott and Mrs.

Ross Wiley will assist the hostess. Thursday, evening the men of Centre Presbyterian church are invited to be among the guests to attend a meeting of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Men's group at Sunnyburn. Rev. John K. Quay, vice-president of Princeton Theological seminary, will be the speaker.

The local men's group will have a meeting of their own Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the New Park hall. Ross Lowe is the chairman of the committee in charge. Monthly meeting of the Friendly class of the Centre Presbyterian Sunday school will be held Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the home fit Mrs.

B. R. Lang entertained at a wedding dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. George Hooper, Westminster, who were recently married.

Mrs. Hooper is the former Ethel Yingling, Snydersburg, Md. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Yingling and son, Maurice 13 sites announced for Dallas-town's new fire alarm system.

Didlastown The location of the 13 alarm boxes of the new fire alarm system for Dallastown have been disclosed by Tyrus O. Grim, this place, who is district superintendent of the Electric and Telephone Line Constructing company, Philadelphia. The company last November was awarded the contract for the stringing of wiring for the system over local streets. The 13 boxes will include the alarm box that is already in op-' This box is located on the "outside wall of Rescue Fire company. Including the above mentioned box, there will be a total of six boxes located on Main street.

One box will be placed ia the center of town, at the northwest corner of Main and Walnut streets. Two boxes will be located on East Main street, one at the northwest corner of Park street and the other at the northeast corner of High street. Two will also be located on West Main street, one at the northeast corner of Franklin street and the other in front of Boyd's Service station, 400 block. There will be four boxes located on the north side of town. One will be placed at the southwest corner of West Maple street and School Place and another will be located on East Maple street between North Walnut street and North Pleasant avenue in the vicinity of the Dallastown Veneer company factory.

One box will be placed at the northwest corner of Lombard and King street on the top of the Yoe hill and one at the northwest corner of Park and Broad streets. Three In South Side On the south side of town there will be three boxes. One will be located at the southwest corner of South Walnut and Gay streets, one at the northeast corner of Girard and South Pleasant avenue and the third one on Frederick street between South Park and South Duke streets in the vicinity of A. C. Reider's shop.

In addition, two other locations have been proposed. They are: East Maple street, between High and North Park streets in the vicinity of Guy Hobbs, "and East Maple street between North Pleasant avenue and North Park street in the vicinity of J. H. Myers Lumber company. On Friday, Grim began to place glass brackets for holding electrical wiring on telephone poles in Dallastown.

However, the superintendent cautioned that his action does not mean that the wire will be strung- in the immediate future. When the -wire is strung, the boxes will be installed by Alfred Conway, local electrical contractor. Project To Cost $7,000 Ivan G. Markle, secretary of the Dallastown Fair association, which is sponsoring the project, has reported that the new system and its installation will cost approximately $7,000.

The secretary added that all the equipment thus far purchased has cost $3,550. The Fair Association is composed of members chosen from the Dallastown Junior Chamber of Comemrce and Rescue Fire Company. Funds are obtained from the holding of the annual Dallastown fair and from donations. Boy Scout Supper A public pot-luck supper will be conducted Feb. 12 at 6 :30 p.m.
