nties. i Army gn of a No, in ities. nect enditure ction of Liberty Group To Meet At Elliott Church The Girls Auxiliary of Liberty Baptist Association will hold Its quarterly rally at Eliott Baptist Church, Rt. 2, Camden Miss Susie Post, Stong, vice Saturday, from 2 until 4 p.m. Miss Susie Post, Strong, vice president of Liberty Baptist GA's will preside.

Theme of the rally will be Song to be Junior girls from Union Baptist Church will bring a musical interpretation of the rally theme. The Missionary Calendar of Prayer will be conducted by the Intermediate of First Baptist Church. Smackover. program will consist of vocal and instrumental music from the girls of approximately 10 churches although many of the churches in the association will be in attendance At the close of the program the will be guests at a tea in the fellowship hall of Elliott Church. Using red, white and blue colors, and a symbol combining the Liberty Bell and a torch of freedom, the tea will be in celebration of the Southern Baptist Year of Jubilee.

MARJIE CAMPBELL JANET FINCHER SPELLERS Campbell and Janet Fincher will represent El Dorado in the spelling contest in Shreveport, Saturday. Margie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Campbell, 833 Crestwood and is a sixth grade student at Holy Redeemer School.

The University of Arkansas has announced that a course in modern mathematics for elementary teachers will be offered in the El Dorado Senior High School starting during the fall of 1964. This class will be in session on Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning September 14, and will continue for 16 weeks according to G. A. Stubblefield, superintendent of El Dorado Schools.

There will be a registration fee which will include a textbook for (his course. Registration for this course must be completed by mail by August 24 of this summer, and Stubblefield is requested to let the University of Arkansas know not later than May 15 approximately how many teachers in the El Dorado schools or surrounding area will register for this course for credit. It will require a minimum of 20 students to offer this class. The course will carry three semester hours of undergraduate extension credit, or a person may take it for non-credit.
