Bicentennial balloons and small flag pins will also be on sale at each of the tables.

Mrs. McKinney stated that the sale will be held from 9a.m. until noon and from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. both days.

JOHNNY RODRIGUEZ Pryor seeks to control manpower LITTLE ROCK (AP) Gov. David Pryor said Wednesday that he did not intend to let manpower training programs in Arkansas be eroded through lack of interest or responsibility on his part. The governor told a meeting of the Arkansas Manpower Council that some special interest groups were working in Washington to convince officials that local units of governments were failing to serve the people for whom manpower funds were intended. Pryor said he supported the concept of ending restrictive and duplicative categorical grant programs and returning authority and funds for manpower programs to the state and local government.

As a congressman, Pryor supported federally funded programs to provide remedial education, skill training and work experience to help people attain and hold jobs. Johnny Rodriguez, a country songwriter and performer, will appear in concert at El Dorado Municipal Auditorium on May 16 at 8 p.m. Appearing with him will be petite country music singing Barbara Mandrell. Backed by the Do-Rights, which include Miss father on guitar and sister Irene on drums, she will open the two and one-half hour concert. Rodriguez is the first young Chicano country music star to capture a national audience.

(UPI) The Westchester Premiere Theater, reputed to be the most lavish suburban theater in the nation, has opened with a policy of star entertainment beginning with singer Diana Ross.
