One of the tnott magnificent wedding which baa ever been held In Chicago was that which united the young live of Mb Hannah, daughter of Me. H. A. Kohn. and Mr.

B. James Springer. The bride a eharminf young lady, amiable and acoomnliahed. The groom, who is known throughout this city and the Northwest and Southwest as the representative of Messrs. 8ei-dcnberg A has In a few years won literally legions of friends by bis geniality and upright manly qualities.

At the wedding were friends from all parts of the country; from Kew York, Cincinnati, Omaha, Bt, Louis, and elsewhere, while daring the day over ISO dispatches were received, all expressing the kindliest wishes for the future happiness of the venturer on the sea of matrimony. THE DDIXQ took place at the Temple Kersher Anshe Marev, on Indiana avenue, corner of Twenth-sixth street, it" p. m. The building was thronged, aud carriages crowded the vicinity. Hill, Maurice Rosenfield, Louis Levy, Angell Homer, Arthur Arnold, New York, and Albert Heldrlbach, of Cincinnati Then came the bridesmaids and groomsmen, as follows: Miss Jennie Kohn, cousin of tee bride, with Mr. Louis Flescher, of Philadelphia; Miss Belle Wineman, and Mr. W.

Arnold, of New York: Miss Julia Kohn, cousin of the bride, with Mr. Kan ford Bernheimer, of New York: Miss Dora Kohn. sister of the bride, and Mr. Joseph Clsrbureh; Miss Rose Kohn, sister of the bride, and Mr. Harry Rosenfield.

The parent of the bride and the "sponsor' of the groom followed next, and last, the cynosure of all beholders, came the bride and groom. A better looking couple never made "the tie that binds," and as they entered the bouse of worship both friends and strangers raised a buss of admiration. "Professor Backmann's orchestra in the gallery played the "Wedding March" of Mendelssohn with fine effect, and the Rev. Dr. Adler, with the impressive ceremonial of his church, performed the ceremony which made the twain man and wife.

On the dias there was erected an arch of evergreen and the young couple stood under an immense bell of flowers. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. James Bpringer held a reception and wedding banquet at standard Hall, where some WW guests called during the evening. The costumes were superb, and the display of Jewelry unrivalled in the record of similar affairs in Chicago.

THE COSTtTiCES. The bride wore a magnificent robe of embossed white velvet, embroidered with pearls, and adorned with ostrich feathers. The head was covered with the bridal veil of illusion and orange blossoms. She bad splendid diamond Jewelry. Of the bridesmaids.

Miss Dora Kohn wore a white silk and silk brocade, with diamond ornaments. Mrs. Homer, the sponsor of the groom, had a suit of white gros-grain ailk.satin waist, trimmed with pearls; diamond Jewelry. Miza Jennie Kohn's costume was a pink velvet, trimmed with swans' down; diamond jewelry. Miss Belle Wineman wore a white satin and white silk costume, with diamond and pearl Jewelry.

Mrs. 3. 8. Kimmelstlel wore a court train of white brocade silk, front of skirt and waist of "old gold'" satin, elaborately embroidered with flowers: diamond ornaments. Mrs.

At Standard Hall the happy pair received an army of visitors dnrtng th evening, from o'clock. The hall was brilliantly lighted and beautifully decorated. Wreaths of evergreens crossed transversely. At the bead of Hie tables, in the seats prepared for the bride and groom, was an aquarium of jelly, in which fish were transfixed, as if in wonder at the scene of beauty before them. The rsredos was a blue atmosphere, studded with golden stars, above which floated (wafted to and fro bv unseen wires) Cupid driving a chariot of clouds.

The tables were splendidly decorated with fruits and flowers, and during th banquet, which was provided by the Standard Club caterer, Mr. Hoff, the good cheer provided was of generous proportions and of the highest cuisine. These rich viands were accompanied br wines of Franos and Germany. Still Hockheimer and sparkling champagne flowed like water. The list of guexts included the following: Mr.

THOMAS BEVAN. The propeller Fax ton, for which there hav been fears, beoause ahe is overdue at Tawaa front Bay City, waa used as aa excursion boat out of Chicago last season, and is well known to the Chicago pnbllo. She is about the sis of the Northern Transit boats, and has full cabins, as those boats have.
