Wm. Gibbs, mate, died on board the schr Superior on sogiuaw Bay. He bad been ill for two week. Captain Warren, of barge Niagara, drowned at Wenona. Charles Smith, wheelman, killed while at the wbeel on tn board prop enona at Cheboygan.

James Collaner, fell from the masthead of the bark Board of Trade near Mackinaw, and killed instantly. Geo. Swazey, deck hand, drowned irom tug' Triangle, on Detroit River. JVVE. Charles Smith, fireman, killed by explosion of taj Stark-Weather at Cleveland.

James Powers, tire man, was caught in a line and dragged overboard from prop Thomas A. Scott while leaving trie. Willicm Collier, sailor, drowned iu Chicago harbor while under the influence of intoxicating drinks. Age. 'J9 years.

Colin Murray fell from the jibboom of acbr Tecumseh at Goodrich, Onu. and drowned. William Hartnett, sailor, crushed between the barge ern and the dock at Chicago, and killed. He belonged to the bark Monarch. A Norwegian sailor on board schr America had his skull fractured by the toe line parting, and died soon after in Wetland Canal.

John Seymour, sailor, died of paralysis on board the Stmr Evening Star on Lake Huron. Charles McGehan, aged 22, fell overboard from scow Contest at Kenosha, Laka Michigan, and drowned. A. Two unknown men drowned from a fishing boat on Lake Huron. Maggie Cavanaugh, stewardess, burned to death on board the stmr Forest Queen, Pembroke, Lake Ontario. Austin T. Henderson, mat. of schr Angus 8nuth, died suddenly at Milwaukee, aged 4a John Simpson drowned from scow Neptune on Lake Ontario.

John McDermott, aged 30, drowned from bark Two Fannies near Sault Canal. Robert Crowley, sailor, died on shore at Oswego of con-lumption. James Powers, drowned from tug Mary A. Green at Erie. oeorge Hlnes, drowned from tug Gordon in Weiland JULY.

Captain Alexander McMann. aged 58, died at Detroit, Mich. John Langley and William Forrest, first and second mates of schr A. William Richards. Mr. Akers, Mr. Braddon, Thomas An-Jeraon, and Charles Anderson, all professional gentlemen and citizens of Toronto, drowned in Lake Ontario, by capsizing of yacht oam. Captain Thomas J.

Miller, an old and well-known lake master, diedauddenly at a hotel in Colli ngwood. Alexander Pecan drowned from barge Energy, in Rideaa Canal. Robert McDonald, sailor, browned from schr White Oak, at Kingston, Ont, William Simmons drowned from prop barge Lincoln, st TyrconneL Captain Bimon McGrsth, of the scow Coral, killed near Toledo, on the Pennsylvania Railroad track. John Duff died from Injuries received on board tag Champion, at Maiden. Waller Payne, a lad, drowned from stmr Inter-Ocean, at Chicago.
