A Halt For Settlement. I A ault was filed yesterday in tbe Common I'leaa Court by Marlon O. Wbetatone asainat the estate of Thomas O. Smith ask Ins judgment for money which. It Is alleged la due to the plaintiff.

Some' of the claim extend back a period of 27 years. After the death of Mr. Smith there was a settlement of the buslneas which had been transacted between him and the plaintiff, who Is his sister, and ahe paid for the eervloes which be had rendered her. This suit la the result of dissatisfaction over that settlement, and it Is believed that there will be an amicable adjustment of the mattera la dlsoute. An answer was filed at the same time the suit was tiled, and while the ault charge that there la due from the estate, that is denied, and thus the laaue la Joined.
