When the group retired to the Masonic dining room, a belated surprise birthday party was given and a decorated cake made by Ada Ahlin, St. Patrick Day dinner will be March 20. St. Michael Altar Society decided at a meeting Wednesday evening at the Paul Greany home.

The turkey dinner will be served family style at the St. Michael Parish Hall between p.m. The members are now collecting cancelled commerative stamps which are to be sent to people in the Far East including Africa, Asia and India. Mrs. John Pozdcr read an article.

The March 9 meeting will be in St. Michael Parish Hall. Jeanette Schultz, Eloise Henderson, Nellie Clawson, Lee Durfee, Alpha Kelley, Edith Hawe, Winnie Bowls, Flossie Johnson, Ellen Kolbeck, Dora Enman, Cora Mae Beck, Reva Wilson, Flora Jean Olsson, Lor-aine Scholl, Evelyn Shanklln, and past patrons, Emery D. Jensen, J. W.

Ahlin, Glen Hawe, Arthur Scholl and Allen M. Ar-rington. A duet was sung by Ada Ahlin and Lela Brown to honor the past officers. The meeting was voted to send the annual contrivutions to the Masonic Home and Estarl program. A comic skit was presented with Darlene Conn, Evelyn Lawson, Afton Bradshaw, Shirley Zottnick, Earleen Adler, and Roberta Rennie In the cast.

DRUMMOND A movie of the Ghost Towns of Montana from the State Highway Com mission was shown at a meet ing of the PTA Thursday evening at the school house. During the session, Mrs. Dan Clark was appointed as chairman of the nominating committee. Getting a juke box for the Recreation Center for the students to use at record hops was discussed. Two different reports in regard to prices were presented and the committee tabled the Issue until next meeting.

It was also suggested that the members give the dances and be chaperons. The sophomores and fifth grade students received the room part in a program were a comic skit, Mary Lu Smith and Dode Schultz; flute solo, Linda Henderson accompanied by William Simmons; piano solo, Barbara Thompson. The beginners band under the direction of Mrs. Simmons, music instructor, will present the program at the March meeting. Past matrons and past patrons were honored at the Wednesday evening meeting of Margaret Cumming Chapter, OES.

The evening began with a tribute to the flag, read by Ada Ahlin for Americanism month. meeting and of the High Lake Dams, roadside beautification, the maintainance of forest roads and of trees being planted to preserve our forest. She stated something had to be done to preserve our Bitter Root flowers. Mrs. Fred Peterson presented a plant of cacti and vine foliage combination. The next meeting Instrumental Solos Presented At Viclor PTA Meeting CORVALLIS Thirty-six members and friends of the Corvallis All Star Club met at the Masonic Temple to play cards.

William Pellant won high score for Mrs. Lawrence Foueher for pinochle, Mrs. Roy Chaffin for five hundred and Mrs. Rex Widow won high for Bridge. A business meeting was conducted by president Mrs.

Stella Korman. Xunch-was served by the hostesses Mrs. Terry Parks and Mrs. John Pendergraft, assisted by Mrs. Robert Carmichael.

-The Bitter Root Duplicate Bridge Club met Feb. 13 at the Elk's Temple for a master point game with 7 tables in play. North-south winners were Mr. and Mrs. William.

Phillip Marks, Mrs. Alda VICTOR-The Victor Parent-Teacher Association met at the school cafeteria. The Victor Cub Scouts led the bur Robinson displayed several winter arrangements of artificial flowers and two wall plaques. Mrs. Buker also won the prize.

Trexler had a program of tape recordings from interviews he had with the first, second, and third graders. The seventh grade mothers served refreshments. Past PTA presidents were introduced and honored for their work in the organization by Mrs.

Virgil Rockford. Past presidents present were ful slides of Montana's birds and Trexler, Don McCammon, Kay Groff, and Bobbi Ann Rockford. The new Dixieland band com Jayeeens Hear Hair Stylist Mission Jaycees wita a boolh Terri Adler, Martha Stacy; vocal solo, Mrs. Krueger accompanied by Mr. Kruger on the guitar; trumpet solo, Randy Clure; duet, Mickey Lee, and Shannon McGuire; and tap dance, second and third grade girls; twirlers, Judy and Patty Graham, Lenore Abbey, Vicky at the community carnival, Bailey, 53.

March In the Parish Hall, The two groups will operate a Loren Williamson, Dick Langton, DRUMMOND The Home Talent Variety Show for the Heart Fund was presented Saturday evening at the High School Gymnasium under the auspices of the Business and professional Women's club. Participating were piano solos, Dianne Gilman; The Pledge of Allegiance, Boy Scouts; twirlers, Susan Schulz, Lee Fortunati; vocal solo, Phyl Jail with all fines to go to th carnival fund which is distributed to four major charities. ST. IGNATIUS-Mission Jay- ceens met with Mrs. Douglas Smole, Feb, 10 and guest speaker was Miss Lorraine Ashley, hair stylist in St.

Ignatius. Miss Ashley, who recently attended a hair style show In Spokane, reported on current styles and offered suggestions for hair care. Preceding the program the posed of Bobbi Ann, Dennis Fi-field, Shannon Dillon, Jan Rock-ford, and Mike Gaudi one number. The PTA Pancake supper will be March 25. Mrs.

LuRea Tanner's fifth grades had a display of art work in honor of famous patriots born in February. A committee was named -to see about purchasing a new coffee-maker for the school kitchen and new back stage curtains for the gym.
