May 1, 1347. m3-tft LUCINA CORDIAL, OR THE ELIXER OF LOVE. This is the only actual remedy ever discovered for GENITAL DEBILITY, and all DISEASES occasioned by certain secret habits; and many of tha nostrums, recently recommended for the same complaints, are worthless imitations which its unrivalled excellence, fame and popularity, have brought into the market. The Medical Faculty of Europa and the United States are unanimous in their re- commendations of the LUCINA CORDIAL, and have not given fheir sanction in a single instance that has been authenticated to any other compound prepared for the same purposes. The ntmost reliance may be placed on the potency of the Lucina Cordial in the foregoing maladies, and also in those which follow: Loss of muscular energy Physical Lassitude and general Prostration; Irrnability and all Nervous Affections: Indigestion; Sluggishness ef the Liver; and EVERY DISEASE in any way connected with fie disorder or decay of the Procrea-tive Functions, in all of which it will afford almost immediate relief; and, if used as directed, is almost certain to produce a positive and permanent cure, as it will infallibly restore health and vigor in a brief period; and where want of offspring is a cause of regret, if recourse be had to it, the most beneficialresults may be anticipated with confidence.

Correspondence of the Baltimore Sttn.1 Washington June 9, 1S47. A verv spirited and artist-like view of the new Patent Office, taken from a point near the corner of 7th aad streets, accompanied by a vertical section, and horizontal plan ot the cen tre buildinsr, as planned and designed by Wm P. Elliot. architect and solicitor of pa tents, (formerly of the Patent Office, and late surveyor of the city of Washington,) and drawn on stone by A. De Vandricourt, a very distin- UiSUCU ir tne excellent lithographic establishment ot Mr.

C. B. Graham, of this city, and is on sale at our I nrint shoes. The view renresents a Grecian front, of va riegated free-stone, in perspective, upwards of 400 feet long, two stories high embraced within the order, crowned by an entablature of at least 12 feet high, and tnis by a plain coping; the whole standm? on an -elevated rustic base ment 12 feet high, entirely above ground. The main entrance, which is in the centre, op posite 8th street, is embellished by a portico 100 feet front, bv a depth of SO feet, supported by 16 fluted Grecian doric columns, each IS feet circumference, arranged in two parallel rows, approached by a flight ot granite steps.

This portico leads to the are arranged some fine models of steam engines and printing presses, opening on the west to he principal modei-room and on the east to a 16 feet passage, having arranged on either side the various rooms lor the uommissioner, aminers. Clerks, Librarian, Draftsman, and also by two descending flights of marble steps to the grand Exhibition Room, in which are arranged many oeauuiui specimens oi American "fabrics: the identical clothes and sword worn by General Washington; the print- ins- press at which Beniamin Franklin worked while in London: the original draft of the De claration of Independence, and various other valuable curiosities. The vestibule also conducts by two curved flights of descending steps to the basement story, which is arranged in a similar manner to the principal story lor various classes ot un patented models, fee. The building, when finished, will form a rectangular block, 410 by 300 feet, having bold projections and convenient entrances near the several angles, with an open rectangular court in the centre of the block to admit light and air, having a continuous pas sage around and in the centre of the four sides, extending about 1,000 feet in length the rooms on either side being formed and arranged to suit the future wants ot the department. Notwithstanding the great magnitude of this build- it is already much crowded.

Ihe wings will have to be added in the course of a year ortwo.unless the National and Smithsonian In stitute give up the large hall for the exhibition ol the models, which is now in part temporarily occupied by the curiosities under the charge of these institutions. J. Correspondence of the Ealtimore San. Washington, June 10, 1847. The party of negroes who were engaged in the assault upon JDunlap, the scientihe barber, will hnd ltamuca more serious anair than they probably expected.

They will be indicted for a riot, as well as for an assault with intent to kill. It convicted on eiiaer indictments, the enitentiary will be their lot. The "magnificent distances," for which our city was once so remarkable, are fat being filled up bv larare and handsome dwellings. A great number of private residences have been commenced this spring. The hotel formerly kept by Fuller i3 now undersoing a complete alteration, which when finished will render it one of the most commodious in the district.

will be occupied by Mr. Willar. Mr. Fuller is repairing the building at the corner of Pennsylvania avenue and Twelfth street, with the intention of opening a hotel there as soon as the repairs are finished. When these two establishments are under way, our city will be able to boast ot having eight hrst- rate hotels on the avenue alone.

I learn that Mr. Tavloehas purchased the lot of ground upon which stood the "National Theatre," which was burnt down some years ago. It is his intention to erect a new theatre upon the old site, of the same dimensions with the former one. It is to be hoped that thoe mournful looking "old four walls" will be torn down as soon as possible. Trle antl 3Ionetary Attain.

They challenge the World to produce remedies of greater celerity and efficacy. No disgusting oils, balsam, mercury or foetid drugs are used in their practice, but by purifying treatment, disease is driven out, instead of being turned in upon the system, by too quickly checking outward signs; thus preventing its return in a more horrid and dangerous form. No detention from business or great restriction in diet is required. The breath is. not tamted, or the stomach weakened, but by quickly restoring heahhy action, injur? and exposure are avoided.

All weakness or evils arising from a certain secret habit, perfectly removed ant vigor soon, restored. Complaints ana anecnons of with delicate and skilful attention.
