La. Indictments were returned here Monday against former Mayor George L. Nattin and four other men on charges growing out of an investigation into alleged corruption in the city. The indictments included charges ranging from public bribery, malfeasance and failure to report income Named in the indictments were Nattin, his son George Nattin his brother Waylan Nattin, assistant Police Chief Sammie Teutsch, and police major D. Methvtn, who was in charge of the vice squad A spokesman for the Bossier Parish Sheriffs Office said Sheriff Willie Waggonner refused to mug, iiool, or print any of those indicted late Monday, although they were booked The former mayor was ac cused of one count of public bribery in allegedly accepting $300 from a Shreveport contractor to permit the contractor to install air-conditioning equipment in Bossier City.

George Nattin Sr and his son were accused of one count of public contract fraud by using their positions to secure expenditures of public funds into the Louisiana Soil Stabilization of which the former mayor was a stockholder Nattin senior and Waylan Nattin were accused of three counts of public bribery. According to the indictments, they accepted between $100 and $300 weekly from a night club operator to allow the club to conduct gambling games and ignore legal closing hours, and also accepted $1,500 from the same club operator in 1968 and another $700 in 1970. Waylan Nattin, an agent for the Stale Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, was indicted on three counts of public bribery 1971 and 1972 and on malfeasance.
