There With Lucelle Newton Phone 836-8192 College Chatter Robert Harrington and Tony Tucker of Camden, Forestry students at Bed River Vocational Technical School in Hope, recently attended the Southern Forestry Products Association Biennial Machinery and Equipment Exposition held in Atlanta, June 1-3. Manufacturers from throughout the United States attend the conference to display forestry equipment and machinery from their line of products. Mr. Harrington has accepted employment with Stevens Forest Services in El Dorado, and Mr. Tucker will be employed by Louisiana-Pacific Corporation located in New Waverly, Tex.

Patricia Carter, of Camden, made straight A during the spring semester at Arkansas Tech in T. Russellville, placing her high on the List. Danniel Thomasson, also from Camden, was also named on the list. In order to make the List a student must do 3.25 work on a 4.00 scale. Susan L.

Watts, freshman at the University of Arkansas, was named to the spring honor roll at Fayetteville. Jennifer C. Bragg participated in the University of summer orientation program June 17-19. The orientation sessions are designed to provide students information about various colleges, the major courses of study, and to explore aptitudes toward college work The students may pre-register if they desire. While the students attend orientation, special meetings and tours of college facilities are held for their parents.
