Sixty family members attended the celebration that was hosted by their daughter, Janet Deutsch. Lucille Funk and Dan Henneberry were married Nov. 7, 1931 in St. Mary Church in Laurin. They were the co-owners, editors and publishers of the Dillon Examiner 18 years.

Way School District. focus of a day-long workshop Sept. 19, 9-5, in the Copper King Inn, sponsored by southwestern Montana region of Emergency Medical Services. "We want to bring to people's eyes especially those who deal with any forms of abuse some facts about it," says coordinator Helen McTavish. "A lot of people know the myths about rape, wife abuse and child abuse.

We want to help them overcome the myths and therefore help the victim." She said the public session is especially geared to health personnel, teachers, law enforcement officers, counselors and "anyone who ever encounters other people." Butte pediatrician Linda Rogers will talk on child abuse how to recognize it, how to approach the victim and the family, when to report, Montana statistics. Psychological abuse of children will be discussed by Ken Welt, a Butte clinical psychologist. Lee Rock, a couselor at the Women's Place In Missoula, will talk on spouse and child battering. Anna Saulwlck, also a counselor at the Women's Place, will discuss rape. The abuse of health personnel by disturbed patients will be the topic of registered nurse Eleanor V.
