Bertha Howe, 80 years old, 5543 North Nashville avenue, died yesterday in the Lutheran Deaconess hospital of complications which developed after she was injured in a fall on Christmas day. Mrs. Howe as a child lived at Noble and Huron streets, and her home was destroyed in the fire of 1871. A son and a daughter survive. Dr.

Vincent Gino. Dr. Vincent Gino, physician and surgeon, died of a heart attack on Monday at his home, 3249 Washington boulevard. He was 63 years old. Dr.

Gino was a native of Italy and recelved his training at the University of Palermo. IIe served with the American army as an overseas lieutenant during the world war. He was a major in the medical reserve and was on the staff of the University hospital. Surviving are his widow, Adele; a son, Dr. Marcell Gino; and three daughters.

Mrs. Catherine Henry, Mrs. Louise Luisi, and Mrs. Margaret Magee. Commodore Lloyd Bankson.

Washington, D. March 5 1Speciall.Commodore Lloyd Bankson, U. S. retired, who was one of the best known naval constructors in this country, died today in the Washington naval hospital. lie was 83 years old and was retired from active servo in 1921.

I Frank Martin. A heart attack caused the death yesterday of Frank Martin, 62 years old, a conductor for 33 years on the Chicago Eastern Illinois railroad. lie had been an employe of the company for 36 years. When stricken, Mr. Martin was in a restaurant at 10 Polk street.

Ile was about to start his run on the Dixieland, bound for Miami, Fla. Ile died on the way to St. Luke's hospital. Mr. Martin's home was in Danville, A project whereby boys and girls will learn and practice the American cystern cf free enterprise is to be launched in Chicago shortly.
