Two passes missed, Michelson made 8, another pass failed, and, it was Montana's ball. Helding threw 12 to Bauer. Underwood intercepted Helding's pass as the half ended 19-6. In the Third Quarter Savages returned the kickoff to the 33, Glazier got away for 11 on a quick-opener. Glazier tried again, fumbled, but Nagel recovered for another first down.

Michelson hit for 3, Glazier for 3, Hammerness came in to drop Cobb for a of 11, Byrne made 3 and O'Loughlin was stopped on a fourth down rush, goal to go, on the 2-yard stripe. Cobb kicked 48, King darting back kicked 40, with O'Loughlin racing back 14. Wold took 3, Malcolm 2, Helding passed 6 to Briney. Malcolm tore off another first down in two whirls at the line. O'Loughlin ran 6 and Helding threw 13 to Bauer as the Grizzlies moved fast.

Malcolm made 1, Helding pitched 16 to Wold for a first down on the EWC 3. O'Loughlin lost 2, Wold was stopped, O'Loughlin smashed to the one-yard line, then was stopped inches short of the goa' as EWC took the ball on downs. As EWC lined up to punt, a Grizzly guard charged offside and then Michelson took two smashes for a first down. The Final Quarter Michelson hit three times for 10 yards. Glazier made 4.

Ford rushed Cobb, who was dropped for a loss of 11, and Michelson was stopped. Cobb kicked 40 and O'Loughlin returned 18. Malcolm made 2 at end, a pass failed, so did- O'Loughlin, and O'Loughlin kicked 25 out of bounds. Savages soon kicked back 44. Kingsford had two passes blocked, failed on a run and O'Loughlin punted, Bauer making a beautiful tackle of the receiver.

Cobb passed 10 to Michelson, Michelson burst through for 15. Doe made 4, Glazier 8. Michelson made 8. Glazier almost got away on a 29-yard run, Kuburich dropping him on the Montana 10. Michelson lugged the ball to the 5, lost 2 when piled up on the next try.
