Miller reported Friday that a side mirror was broken off his car and the front seat was cut and torn while the vehicle was parked in the Ramada Four Theaters lot between 7 and 10:30 p.m. An attendant at the Clark Service Station, 615 Missouri reported Saturday that an unidentified man drove off without paying for $6 worth of gas which he had pumped in his car at the self service island early that morning. Paul Lubbert, 2012 Buehrle reported Friday that several boys threw mud balls at his car on Edgewood Drive. He later declined to press charges against the boys and said the car was not damaged. Luke Henley, Eugene, dies Luke Henley, 88, Eugene, died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs.

Pearl Thompson, Eugene, after a long illness. He svas bom March 15.1884. the son of Thomas and Malm- da Norfleet Henley. He was married Dec. 21, 1902, at Eugene, to Minnie Buster Henley, who survives at the home.

Mr. Henley was a retired farmer and had also worked as a guard at the Missouri State Penitentiary. He was a i member of the Eugene-Spring Garden area. He was a member of the Eugene Christian Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge A.F.

and A.M., Eugene, and a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Eugene. Other survivors include: Two sons, James Henley, Colorado Springs, and Roy Henley, Jefferson City; three brothers, Doc Henley and Les Henley, both of Eugene, and James Henley, Etterville; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Coffman, Springfield, six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Eugene Christian Church, with the Rev.

A.L. Alexander and the Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Eugene Cemetery. Arrangements are by the i i Funeral Chapel, Eldon.

Mrs. Carl Walters, of Sedalia, dies Mrs. Carl Walters, 78, of Sedalia, died there Friday. The former Miss Flossie Workman, Mrs. Walters was the aunt of Emmett Walters and Theodore Walters, both of Jefferson City.

Mrs. Walters was born March 18, 1894, and for a number of years taught school in Moniteau County. She was married in April, 1919, to Carl Walters, who survives. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Sedalia. Burial will be in Sedalia.

Expert memorial craftsmen 879 Gottschalk rites Monday Edward J. Gottschalk, 84, a former resident of Jefferson i died Friday at a retirement center in St. Louis County. Mr. Gottschalk, who lived in Jefferson City from 1936 to 1968, was a retired purchasing agent for Missouri Power and Light Co.

He worked for Missouri Power and Light and its predecessor companies for over 50 years. Mr Gottschalk was born at Bloomington, 111. He was married at Springfield, 111., on Aug. 4, 1910, to the former' Miss Helen Anderson. She died in 1964.

Survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Gretchen Potts, St. Louis; two sons. Dr. Paul R.

Gottschalk, Houston, and Phillip E. Gottschalk, Columbia; one sister. Miss Louise Gottschalk, Bloomington, 111., and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Daniel J.

Carm a Bloomington, 111. Burial will be at Bloomington. Mr. Linville, Elston, dies William F. Linville, 86, Elston, died Saturday at St.

Mary's Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1886, at Elston, the son of Jim and Nisarre Kenney Linville. On Dec. 24, 1917, he was married at Webb City, to the former Lydia Martin, who died May 15,1971.

A veteran of World War he worked in lead mines in the Joplin area until he retired. He was a member of the Elston Methodist Church. i include one step-son, Neal Martin, Route 1, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Freeman Chapel, with the Rev.

Paul R. Greene officiating. Burial will be in Elston Cemetery. Mr. McMillen, Eldon, dies William H.

McMillen, 52, Eldon, died Friday at his home after a long illness. He was born June 25,1920, at Kansas City, the son of William and Gladys Thompson McMillen. Mrs. McMillen survives. He was married June 28, 1947, at Arlington, to Helen Bruderer McMillen, who survives.

Mr. Me Millen was a private music teacher in the Eldon community for several years. He was a former employe of the Shaw Music Company, Jefferson City. Other survivors include: A son, Harley McMillen, Holts i a grand-daughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Monday at the Phillips funeral Home, Eldon, with the Rev. Buena Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery. Mrs. Payne, Eldon, dies Mrs.

Effie Urilla Payne, 81, Eldon, died Friday at Charles E. Still Hospital. She was born July 28, 1891, i Cooper a of James and Catherine Wilcox Scott. She was married Jan, 7, 1908, at City, to John Monroe Payne, who died in 1946. Mrs.

Payne was a member of Oak Street Church of Christ Eldon. She moved to Eldon in 1950 from a farm at Russetlville where she had lived for several years. Survivors include: A son, a Panne, i i a four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the i i Funeral Chapel, Eldon, with Brother Joe Camp officiating.
