star Thursday, May 23, 1985 Casper, Wyo. Arloph H. 'Mike' Chard LUSK Services for Arloph Herold "Mike" Chard, age 76, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Peet Mortuary. Rev.

Jerold Romprey officiated. Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery, Crawford, Neb. Chard died May 18 at Memorial Hospital of Natrona County in Casper. Born Nov. 7, 1908 at Crawford, he was the son of the late Oscar and Rosabelle (Swope) Chard.

His parents moved to a homestead near Whitman, where he spent his early years. His mother died when he was 12, and he and his brother Bunny lived with their grandparents during the winter to attend school. During the summer, he worked on ranches from the age of 9 and at the age of 13, he started working full-time on ranches. He attended school in Pine Knot. On May 17, 1941, he married Gladys Finley at Chadron.

In 1943, he started working in the Lance Creek oil field, where they made their home until he was injured in a hunting accident in 1983. Following his hospitalization, they moved into the Ranger Apartments in Lusk, where they have lived since An avid hunter and fisherman, he spent his spare time working as a gunsmith and with leather. The couple was honored with a picture and a story of their life in several sports magazines. He and his wife were active in "The Legend of the Rawhide Buttes pageant," and later drove horses on the stagecoach for the Historical Society, many times in the parade during the county fair. Survivors include his widow, Gladys of Sheridan; his sister-inlaw, Marjorie Chard; his stepmother, Margaret Haight and many other relatives.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bunny. J. Ross Stotts LANDER Services for J. Ross Stotts, 43, will be Saturday, 10 a.m., from the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson Funeral Home. Rev.

Warren Murphy, of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Stotts died May 21 from injuries sustained in an auto accident north of Lander. Born March 13, 1941 at Post, Texas, he was the son of the late Harvey and Pauline (Goode) Stotts. On Oct.

25, 1979, he married Joy Forbis at Las Vegas, Nev. Stotts was a Certified Public Accountant and at the time of his death was comptroller for Pineridge Hospital in Lander. In 1974, he was associated with Marvin Hubbs, Jerry Marburger and Dean McKee in Lander and prior to that was with McGlanderyHendrickson Co. in Casper for six years. Stotts was a member of the Lander Chamber Ambassadors and was on the board of directors of the Lander Golf Club.

Survivors include his widow of Lander; four sons, Mike and Mark Stotts and J.R. Atwood, all students at the University of Wyoming, and Jason Atwood of Lander; one sister, Polly Clarke of Pahlequah, and three brothers, Harvey Stotts of Houston, Texas, Dan Stotts of Denver, and Charles Stotts of Alaska. Memorials to the Ross Stotts Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the funeral home, would be appreciated by the family. Agnes Marie Fiedor SHERIDAN Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Marie Fiedor, who died May 22 at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital, will be Friday, 10 a.m., at Holy Name Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited tonight at 7 at Champion Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Born July 14, 1912 at her parents ranch on Early Creek near Ranchester, she was reared and educated in the area. On Feb. 16, 1930, she married Edward Fiedor at Sheridan. Mrs.

Fiedor was a member of St. Edmunds Catholic Church in Ranchester. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 9, 1985, three sisters and one brother.
