of Webster Groves, gave garden party Saturday afternoon at the Pflug home, in SE, honor of Robert Baldauf, a recent graduate of Eden seminary, who was ordained into the. ministry of the Evangelical church, Sunday, at St. John's Evangelical church and Miss Irma Van Boskirk. of Chicago, 111. Mr.

Pflug is professor of religious education at Eden seminary. Many Out-Of-Town Guests Quantities of blooming flowers In the garden formed an attractive setting the occasion. Refreshments were served from a table in the garden. The guests numbered 30 and included Mrs. Emma Funk and daughter, of Cuyahoga Falls, Mr.

and Mrs. Baer, of Youngstown, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stahl and daughter Kristina, of- Gainesville, and Herman Ortwein, who recently graduated from Elmhurst college, and has returned to Massillon for the summer vacation. Ordained In St.

John's Sunday morning St. John's Evangelical church and the Sunday school auditorium were filled to capacity for the ordination of Mr. Baldauf. The Rev. J.

E. Digel, pastor of the church, conducted the ordination service, as. sisted by Dr. H. J.

Christman. professor at 'Eden Theological seminary, Webster Groves, who had the scripture reading and the O. E. Wittlinger, of Cleveland. The church was beautifully decorated with garden flowers and the choir augmented the impressive service with special music.

The Rev. Mr. Baldauf will leave within a week for his charges at Broadland and Sidney, HI. A family dinner was served at the -home of Mr. and' Mrs.

Alfred Baldauf, Franklin following the service. Mr. Baldauf is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Baldauf of 6th SW.

To Sail For Europe Professor-and Mrs. Pflug who have been guests of the former's parents, for the past few days, left Sunday afternoon for New Haven, to attend commencement exercises at Yale university, where Mrs. Pflug's former roommate. Miss Bernice Buehler, of Dover, will graduate from the Yale Divinity school. They will sail from New York, i Wednesday night, June 19, on the! steamship New'York for Elsinore, I Denmark, where they will study the Danish Folk Schools and Cooperatives in International People's college for one month.

Professor and Mrs. Fflug plan to travel in Germany, Austria. Italy, France and England and will return to the United States about Sept. 5. Graduate At Ann Arbor Thomas M.

Davis, son of Attorney and Mrs. T. C. Davis, of 115 Wales graduated today from the law school at the University of Michigan. Ann Arbor, with the' degree of doctor of jurisprudence.

Mr. Davis will return to spend a short vacation with his parents before leaving for New York City where he will become associated with a firm of lawyers known as, Cravath, DeGersborff, Swaine and Wood. He will become attached, to the firm about Aug. 1. Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. Snavely were married by the Rev. E. L.

Smith. They are members of the Methodist Episcopal church of West Lebanon and have spent most of their life in the homo where they now live, near West Lebanon, Prine-Lehman Wedding Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in the Reformed church at Orrville, the marriage of Miss Helen Prine, daughter of Mrs. Daisy Prine, of Pulton, to George Lehman, son of Mrs. Anna Lehman, of Orrville took place. Miss Pern Tombow, of East Greenville, and Walter Steele, of Massillon, were the atendants. Both the bride and her attendant were gowned in white. The bride's gown was of white crepe combined with heavy Jace and she wore a turban with a short veil. Her shoulder corsage was of gardenias, wisteria and baby breath. Miss Tombow's gown was fashioned of crepe and she wore a large white hat and her flowers were pink rosebuds, sweet- peas and wisteria.

A wedding dinner for 50 guests followed at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. William Richmond in Orrville. The table was dec.ou.ted with a wedding cake topped with a niniature bride and groom, and VCU ill the dining room at a table having a birthday cake. Nine guests were present and Mr. Pinis received a number of gifts.

Friendship Class Friendship class of the Myers Re- Orphans Committee Party Tlie grand prize for the series of afternoon card parties just finished by the orphan committee, of the Daughters of America, will be awarded Tuesday afternoon, at a 500 party in the Junior order club. Games will begin at 2, the public is invited. The orphans committee is sponsoring this party. Ladies of the O. R.

C. The Ladies of the O. R. C. will hold a regular meeting Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, in the Trades and Labor hall.
