HOUSTON. s-WUWJ-fc-5 R. S. F. Houston is a planter and resides in the country but at the same time is considered practically a citizen of Selma.

His splendid plantation is located only a few County and of the city of Selma and never turns down a call made upon his local pride and patriotism. His ability and public spiritedness was recognized by the people at the last election of members of the Court of County Revenues and he was elected to represent his district thereon. Since assuming the duties of the office he has given to them much time and faithful work and is serving his immediate constituents and the people of the county to their entire satisfaction. He is interested in the good roads work now going on and watches all interests of the county carefully and conscientiously. Mr.

Mr. Houston devotes his energies to farming and has met with great success. His plantation is a model one and he always makes good crops and has no trouble in securing good labor.
