For the Bride 17 Car 48s Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Huckleberry (Pamela K. Hilton) HiltonHuckleberry Pamela Kay Hilton and James Roy Huckleberry, both of Salina, selected the First Presbyterian Church for their June 7, wedding.

Officiating were Dr. Bernard Hawley and the Rev. Steve Letourneau. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Willie C. Hilton, 639 Albert. Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs. J.T.

Huckleberry, 1930 Marc. Musicians: JoAnne Walters and Kevin Klotzbach, Salina, and Debbie Johnson, Lindsborg. Lace enhanced the bride's chapel train Qiana gown. Her veil of illusion, edged with embroidered lace flowers, was caught to a matching cap and extended to chapel-length. Maid of honor: Vicki Hilton, Salina.

Bridesmaids: Kim Bengtson, Wichita, and Jean Klotzbach, Salina. Best man and groomsmen: Bob Huckleberry, Hutchinson; David Salina, and Scott Bengtson, Wich-ita. Other attendants: Larry and Christy Holcom, Newton, and Mike Smith and Nicki Hilton, Salina. Salinans Mr. and Mrs.

Ronald Green assisted at the reception in Blair Hall of the church. A for relatives and the wedding party followed at the VFW Hall. The bride graduated from South School and previously was a clerk-typist at Kansas State University. Huckleberry, a graduate of South High, attended Hutchinson Community College. He is an autumn senior-to-be majoring in construction science at K- State.

After a Texas honeymoon, the couple will be at home in Salina, until returning to Manhattan in August. Open house MARQUETTE Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hulse will be honored with a 2 to 5 p.m. open house June 22 at the Ranch House Club in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Assisting were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cromwell, Lincoln. The bride is a graduate of Lincoln High School and Marymount College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She will be working at Lawrence Memorial Hospital as a graduate nurse.

Cole, a graduate of Lincoln High and Kansas State University, holds a bachelor's degree in political science. He is a law student at the University of Kansas and will work at the University this summer. Wohlford, a Mulvane High School graduate, holds a 1980 bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Wichita State. He is an electrical engineer with Vulcan Materials, Chemical Division, Wichita. They are at home at 7677 E. 21st, Wichita, and plan a delayed wedding trip. O'Rorke, 126 E. Kirwin, was solemnized June 7 at the University United Methodist Church, Receiving their vows was the Rev. Dick Robbins. Harry Huber, Salina, and Sandra Beardmore, Bellevue, were the musicians. Organza and lace composed the bride's gown, complemented by a picture hat of Qiana holding a tulle veil.

A pottery shower was given for the bride-to-be by Mrs. Franke Moore and Mrs. Horace Veal at the Veal home, 824 S. 10th. Eleven couples attended a couples shower and brunch given for the brideelect and her future husband.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Dupy were hosts at the Dupy home, 314 W.

Jewell. Entertaining 14 guests at a stoneware shower and brunch were Mrs. Jack Howard and Mrs. Don Millikan, at the Millikan home, 2005 Ridgeview. Coral and white, Joyce's wedding hues, were used at the festivities.
