A5 Sullivan vetoes proposal These maps represent the reapportionment plan contained in House Bill 117, which won final approval from the Legislature Friday night and was vetoed by Gov. Mike Sullivan Monday (see story, A 1). The plan calls for a 62-mcmber I louse (down from the present 64 members) and a 30-member Senate. It provides for 16 single-member districts and 23 dual-member districts in the House, and all single-member districts in the Senate.

The official maps of the reapportionment plan adopted by the bill became available Monday morning. SI? Twenty-three of the House districts in this plan would elect two representatives; the other 16 districts will elect one representative each. The dual-member House districts, identified by numbers on the map, are as follows: districts 1 through 4, districts 6 through 8, districts 11, 12, 19,24, 25, districts 30 through 32, and districts 35 through 42.
