"A LID When the Lid Lifters company appears at the Majestic tomorrow patrons of that house will witness a performance that is said to realize in every detail the idea of up-to-date advance burlesque. Without deviating from the customary form of this style of entertainment, which includes broad comedy, lively musical features and all forms of dancing, the arrangement of the show is credited with the complete elimination of those elements that have heretofore precluded the patronage of ladies and children. A typical burlesque book has been provided for which distinct originality is claimed with much bright witty dialogue and humorous scenes and incidents of the kind that keep the" spectators constantly interested and amused.

Special care was exercised, it is said, in the selection of the musical features with a view to embracing th6 latest popular songs and to give an entirely fresh twist to their presentation. Scenery- and costumes, are said to have been prodigally supplied to adorn, this new notfe in burlesque and it is described as equally in splendor and completeness those that are employed in pretentious productions of musical comedy. The presenting company 'embraces several men and women who haye achieved more than ordinary 'popularity on account of their distinctive individuality and marked talents among whom may be mentioned Harry (Whistling) Lang who has the support of Dolly Sweet, Frank, (Bud) Williamson, Russell Hill. Harry Van'and Robb and Robertson and a large chorus made-up entirely of the vaudeville part of the entertainment is Ora Ental who is said to give a startling and at the same time artistic performance on. the trapeso and' to render several dances of the approved classical kind.
