Public Invited to See Currier, Ives Prints at Library Miss Virginia Conncll, Moberly public librarian, invites everyone to view the collection of original Currier and Ives prints now on display at the library. The exhibit, assembled by the Travelers Insurance Companies and arranged for Mobcrly by the P.

K. Weis Agency, is one of a series P' seven collections of origin, al prints now touring the country. The prints make up what is recognized as one of the most superior collections available, library officials said. These priceless prints illustrate the customs and costumes of the years 1835 to 1870. Varying in scenery and subject matter, the prints portray many aspect of frontier life from the sentimentality encompassing the home life of the period to the lusty spirit of adventure, which enraptured many men.

CMering also to the era's interest in horses and ships, the prints jet do not overlook the humor of the day.
