VOTERS TO POLLS FOUR STATES Primary Elections to End Campaign iaj. Ohio; Lively Nebraska Contest (By fehe Associated Press) -Primary elections were held in fow- states today, ending campaigns marked with bitter words and the threat of senatorial investigations. The sharpest contest Jay in onio and Nebraska, with less spectacular primaries in Idaho and Arkansas. The Ohio primary had a. three- cornered scrap for the Democratic senatorial nomination as its focal point.

Gov. George White former Gov. Vic Donahey and Rep. Charles West all sought the nomination in a fight embracing all factions of the party. United States Senator Robert J.

Bulkley supporting West, charged Gov White with buying support with highway jobs and threatened a senatorial investigation if White were nominated. Four Oppose Fess The Republican senatorial race found Senator Simeon D. Fess. G. O.

P. stalwart, opposed by -four candidates. For governor the Republicans had seven candidates in the ring and the Democrats three In Nebraska, a fight between Governor Charles W. Bryan and Arthur F. Mullen, former National committeeman, for control of the Democratic party was the high spot.

Bryan, seeking- senatorial nomination, was opposed by Rep. E. R. Burke, sup ported by Mullen. Bryan supporters have charged Mullen with pouring money into the state to nominate Burke and two Republican candidates have predicted Senator George W.

Morris would ask an investigation of campaign funds. Nine candidates sought the Democratic gubernatorial nomina tion while five were entered in the Republican race. Five sought the Republican senatorial nomination. Seeks Third Term C- Ben Ross biu a third term as governor of Idaho attracted the major interest in that state's primary. He was opposed by Frank Martin, former state attorney general and Asher B.
