B3 Saratoga County Job Fair offered in area 4 i 1 pi 1 Jl- 5r -ik SARATOGA A Job Fair designed to bring unemployed and underemployed individuals together with potential employers will be held on Saturday, at the Saratoga Central Catholic High School, 247 Broadway, Saratoga Springs. The Job Fair is the idea of Roy McDonald." chairman of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors, and is being jointly run by the Saratoga County Employment and Training Administration and the Greater Saratoga Chamber of Commerce. More than 150 businesses have been invited to attend. Some will seek to fill full or part-time positions currently open.

Others will take applications or resumes to fill future openings. Also participating will be various agencies such as Job Service, the U.S. Armed Services, Youth Employment Agencies an area training schools. More information can be obtained by calling the chamber or the Employment Training Jr'r. Scout project.

Jason Everest is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Everest of 24 Moore Saratoga Springs. Everest was a member of the Ky Club and varsity tennis and participated in the A D. program.

He has been accepted at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and will pursue a career in electrical engineering. Margaret Ethier is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ethier of 12 Lamplighter Lane, Saratoga Springs. Ethier was the recipient of the social studies and business awards for academic achievements.

She has been a member of the Key Club, the S.A.D.D. Chapter and, the National Honor Society. Kristen Palmer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Palmer of 2 Pine Knoll Drive, Saratoga Springs.

Palmer was a representative at Girls' State and has participated in girls' basketball. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, S.A.D.D. Chapter, and has held offices in these organizations. She has been accepted at the Albany College of Pharmacy and plans on pursuing a career in pharmacy. SARATOGA Paul J.

Ripchik, principal of Saratoga Springs Senior High School, announces that William Snyder, son of William Snyder, Sr. and Marcia Snyder of 11 Anyhow Lane. Gansevoort. has been named valedictorian of the Class of 1986 and that Kristen O'Brien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas O'Brien of 17 Eureka Saratoga Springs, has been named saluatorian. Snyder has majored in math, science, and Spanish while attending Saratoga Springs High School. He has represented the high school at Boys' State in his junior year and has participated in baseball, bowling and golf during his four years. In addition, he has been a member of the National Honor Society. He has been accepted and will attend Siena College, pursuing a career in business and accounting.

Kristin O'Brien was a member of the Key Club and was secretary and vice president in her junior and senior year. She was the recipient of the Bausch and Lomb Science Award and participated on the varsity tennis team the past four years. In addition, she has been a member of Youth and Government and the National Honor Society. She plans to atten Duke University and major in science. The following students comprise the remainder of the Top Ten Stu-dentsof theClassof 1986: Danny Reed is the son of Jean Reed of A9 Mane Saratoga Springs.

Danny has participated in the Future Business Leaders of America. Youth and Government and the National Honor Society. He received honors in Spanish and math and was the recipient of the Harvard Book Award in his junior year. He plans on majoring in Economics at Colby College. Christopher Johnstone is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Douglas Johnstone of 19 Piping Rock Circle. Saratoga Springs. He was a member of the tennis team and vice-president of the National Honor Society. He plans on majoring in law at Swathmore College.

Diane Simonik is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Simonik, of P.O. Box 63, Greenfield Center. Simonik has been a member of the higlr school band and orchestra and has received awards in French and music during her four years.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and plans on pursuing a liberal arts program at the State University of New York at Potsdam. Christine Richute is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Richute of 3 Sleepy Court, Ballston Spa. Richute was the recipient of a French award and has been a member of the National Honor Society.

Saratoga Springs. SCHUYLERVILLE Twelve-year-old Staci Porter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Porter of Staffords Bridge Road, Schuyler-ville, competed Sunday in the Little Junior Miss America Pageant. The pageant was held at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown.

Pageant participants were given instruction by professional producers and directors. Stage techniques and runway presentation were discussed. Sponsoring Miss Porter were Lee and Kathe Porter. Ardelle and Bill Magrain, Powees Humphrey, Arquette. Wally Stimpson.
