Nellie Krueger, 55, of Freeland, died Monday in a BODY FOUND BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) The body of a Bay City man who drowned when his boat smashed into a bridge abutment last week has been found in Saginaw Bay. Washington correspondent for Newspaper Enterprise association, and traveled worldwide in making his assessments of the, pational and international political scene. His column was one of the widest published and read columns in the nation's newspapers. A recent study indicated it was published in 410 papers.

In 1971, he sold a wooded summer retreat fronting on Lake Michigan at lakeside that he and his family had owned for many years. A native of Chicago, he started to visit this area in summers with his family in 1919. When he finally disposed of the property, he wrote in one of his columns that the long leisurely summer vacations he used to enjoy at Lakeside were no longer possible because of the demands of his job. He sold the property "most he said then. One of his final columns appears in this newspaper today and deals with oil supplies.

Because his columns had to be written some time in advance, there may be several additional ones before his final "thirty" is published in this and other newspapers of the nation. two-car collision 10 miles north of Saginaw. Robert Hall Lucas, 27, of Detroit, was killed Sunday when his car ran off a road in Tuscola County's Denmark Township. Marshall Thomas, 29, of Flint, died Saturday night when his car hit a tree in Flint. Anthony Lambardo, 59, of Farwell, was killed Sunday in a three-car wreck on Michigan 115 in rural Clare County. Clara Metzler, 79, and Cora Armentrout, 72, both Samaria, were' killed Sunday when their auto and another car collided south of Monroe. S.A.

Henderson, 28, of Flint, died Sunday night when his car flipped over on Interstate 75 in Oakland County's Pontiac Township. Richard Cuddohy, 18, of Franklin, was killed in a headon crash late Monday on "Michigan 20 in Midland County's Homer Township. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens. James II. Hall MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. James H. Hall, 24, of Michigan City, a former New Buffalo resident, was found dead hanging from a cell door of the Michigan City jail early Saturday morning.

Sgt. Norman Wilson of the Michigan City police said Hall was found hanging from his cell door at 3:55 a.m. by a jail turnkey. said Hall was hanging from his own shirt. The turnkey had checked on Hall in routine cell check 20 minutes prior finding all in order.

Wilson said Hall was alone in the cell and had hanged himself. Hall was confined about 11 p.m. Friday after being arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and three other traffic charges. Surviving are his wife Kathy; one son, James, at home, 814 Wabash street, Michigan City; his mother, Mrs. Ruth.
