Her remains will be interred in the family plot at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. J.F. Meyhoff 63, Center Resident Josephine F. Meyhoff, 63, longtime cook at Center Public School, died Saturday at her home in Center. Funeral will be at 2 p.m.

MDT Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Center. Ms. Meyhoff was born Jan. 3, 1915, at Churchtown in Oliver County to Mr.

and Mrs. John (Dick) Meyoff, and moved to Center with her parents in 1927. She had been cook at the local school for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She leaves one brother, Ervin, Center, and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Sten-berg and Mrs.

Herbert Thom, both of Center; Mrs. Raymond Berg, Bismarck; and Mrs. John Millius, Yakima, Wash. Viewing will be at Buehler Funeral Chapel in Center until time of services. Raymond Panko Services Are Held Raymond Panko, 48, Portland, and former Butte resident, died March 8 at his home, according to word received here.

Services were Thursday at the Chapel of the Lake, Lake Oswego, Ore. Mr. Panko was born March 25, 1930, at Velva and was reared in the Butte area. As a young man, he worked at Anaconda, and then moved to Portland, where he worked as a brick mason. He married Bernice Myers in November 1953 at Anaconda.

Hughes, pioneer utilities builder and Bismarck financier, died Friday at her home in Coral Gables, according to word received here.

The former Anna Mae Ankenmann was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ankenmann former Bismarck residents. She graduated from Regina College, Regina, studied at Presbyterian School of Fine Arts and was a member of the Miami branch of American Pen Women. She later lived at Coral Gables with her mother, and following her marriage to Edmond A.

Hughes in 1940, the couple made their home in Florida and Bismarck. After 1967, they made their permanent residence in Coral Gables. Her husband, a territorial native of Bismarck, became one of the Upper Midwest's most influential financiers. He brought the electric light and longdistance telephone to Bismarck and other state communities and pioneered lignite power generation. Hughes also was a large stockholder in the Northern Pacific Railroad and other major Katie Volk, 71, Rites Wednesday NAPOLEON-Mrs.

George (Katie) Volk, 71, Napoleon, died Sunday at Wishek Community Hospital. The former Katie Meier was born Aug. 3, 1906, at Zeeland, moved with her parents to a farm southwest of Napoleon and married George Volk Nov. 3, 1925, at rural Kintyre. They farmed near Hague, moved to the Napoleon vicinity in 1930 and farmed there until moving to Napoleon in 1954.

Mrs. Volk leaves her husband; one son, Bernard, Kintyre; two daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Malonia) Kelsch, Linton, and Mrs. John (Caroline) Glovich, Moffit; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Scheet, Mandan; Mrs.

Andrew Hof-fort, Los Angeles; Mrs. Matt Mitzel, Napoleon; Mrs. Joe Ivack, Mobridge, S.D.; and Mrs. Wendy Fettig, Billings, one brother, Ben Meier, Bismarck; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.

fe. AY ril VI J. a Colebank A 43 1 Rites Wednesday For Olive Grothe Mrs. Olive Grothe, 94, Bismarck, died Sunday at Mandan Villa nursing home at Mandan. Services are at 2 p.m.

Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church here. Mrs. Grothe was bom at Blooming-dale, in March 1884 and grew up in that state. She moved to White Rock, S.D., in 1919 and to Washburn in 1922. She was married there to Thomas Grothe, June 2, 1925.

In 1927 they moved to Wilton, and in 1943 to Bismarck. Her husband, a carpenter, died in 1962. In her later years she live at Crescent Manor and Uien moved to the nursing home. She leaves four sons, Thomas Bismarck; Richard, Fargo; Arthur, Washburn, and Theodore, Grand Forks; two daughters, Mrs. Elvina Carlson, Bismarck, and Mrs.

Hilda Miller, Big Fork, Mont. 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves one brother, Ben, Westby, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Saugstad and Mrs. Palmer Rude, both of Westby.

The family prefers memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church. (Boelter Funeral Home) Kent Hartman, 21 Kildeer Resident KILLDEER-Kent Alan Hartman, 21, Killdeer, was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dickinson, from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident two miles south of Manning. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St.

Joseph's Catholic Church here, with Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson, in charge of arrangements. Born May 1, 1957, at Dickinson, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Hartman, Killdeer. He grew up on a farm seven miles west of here and graduated from Killdeer High School in 1975.

He was employed by Lind Brothers in Killdeer. In addition to his parents, he leaves a brother, Richard, Williston; and three sisters, Mrs. Garry McMahen and Lori, both of Killdeer, and Peggy, Williston. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the church, where friends may call Monday afternoon.

T. Gottschall, 51, Of Turtle Lake TURTLE LAKE-Theodore Gottschall, 51, foreman for Lindteigen Construction Co. here, died Saturday at a local hospital. Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the American Legion Hall here, with Goetz Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gottschall was born Jan. 16, 1927, at Benedict, where he grew up and attended school. He farmed in the area with his father until entering the U.S. Army in April 1945.

Following his discharge in 1946, he went to work for Lindteigen Construction, where he was employed for over 25 years. He married Joyce Lindteigen March 10, 1956, at Turtle Lake. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Candace) Perez, Huron, S.D., and Teresa, Turtle Lake; three sons, Brian of Texas; Allen, New Port Richey, and Lenus, Turtle Lake; a granddaughter; three brothers, Bert, Garrison, Jonny, Benedict, and Christ, Norma; and seven sisters, Mrs. John Schock, Mrs.

Emil Schock, Mrs. Ed Seidler and Mrs. John Walz, all of Garrison; Mrs. Leland Lindteigen, Turtle Lake; and Mrs. Pauline Taylor and Mrs.

Donald Munsen, both of Sioux Falls, S.D. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post of Turtle Lake. William Ryckman William Warren Ryckman, 83, Elma, who farmed in the West-field area until moving west 10 years ago, died Thursday In an Aberdeen, hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1894, in Emmons County and married Ida Holdner there In 1916.

She died March 14, 1976. Mr. Ryckman leaves two sons, Including Elmer W. Ryckman, Pollock, S.D.; five daughters, Including Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) Tennant, Lemmon, S.D., and Mrs.

Milbert (Violet) Hehn, Hettinger; one brother, Fred, Pollock; three sisters, Including Mrs. Carrie Vander Wal, Westfield; 24 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pollock Memorial United Presbyterian Church, Pollock. (Kraft Funeral Home, Linton).

Mr. Colebank had been a heavy equipment and car salesman and a mobile homes salesman and park manager here before entering the insurance field. He was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Round Prairie Township, rural Williston, to Noah and Lena Colebank, and was reared and educated there. He then moved to Spokane, where he married Norma White.

He later returned to Williston and on Nov. 19, 1956, married Dorothy Kerr Grantier. Mr. Colebank came to Bismarck as a heavy equipment and car salesman in 1965. From 1969-75 he managed the local Acres-A-Plenty mobile home park and its sales operation.

He became a Colonial Life and Accident Insurance agent in 1975 and won numerous sales awards. He became state marketing director in 1976. He leaves his wife at 1803 N. Seventh four sons, Bob, Blue Hill, Gary, Bismarck; and Perry and Jeff, both at home; two daughters, Linda, Barstow, and Mrs. Kathy Pit-tenger, Grand Forks; and two stepsons, Jim and Steve Grantier, both of Watford City.

He also leaves five brothers, Jim, Seattle, Robert, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Raymond, Littleton, Kenneth, Nashville, and Les, Williston; and two sisters, Mrs. Pansy Vannest, Spokane, and Mrs. Ethel Brooks, Bell-flower, Calif. Frances L. Pearson, 72, formerly of McKenzie, died Wednesday at a Phoenix, hospital, according to word received here. Services were held Saturday in Yar-nell, where she had lived for many years. She had at one time worked in Indian services In Bismarck. Born In September 1906 near Cole-harbor In McLean County, she grew up In McKenzie and married Halvor Pearson in Burleigh County.
