Washington estimates are used for acreage, and for the crop of 1880 of Michi gan and Missouri, and state estimates used lor Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.

The mill was stopped in consequence, as the proprietors refused to aecede the demands of the strikers. The trouble is in a fair way of adjustment. Quite a commotion was raised at Law renceburg, by the announcement of the marriage of Miss Annie M. Garnier to Victor Oberdin, the Newtown policeman, and of John B. The hole was quite large at the en trance, but the outlet was scarcely lanre enough to admit the passage of the weasel's body, ihe weasel darted into toe hole. with, the rat at his heela. A moment later the weasel emerged from the other aide, ran Quickly around the compost pile, and again entered the hole, this time in the enemy's rear.
