The hon. secretary of the Ladies' Chess Club informs us that Miss Field, who was married on Tuesday to Mr. D. Anderson, a member of the British Chess Club, was presented with a handsome wedding gift, the presentation being riot the least interesting feature of the entertainment Mr. Pillsbury sent a cable message on Sunday announcing his departure for England route for Vienna.
