On the 27th we had a terrible Storm, accompanied with fuch heavy Rain, that all our Fields and Meadows are laid under Water, and nvtich Damage done. In the Bailiwick of Ertzen, the Rain fell with fuch Rapidity, that feveral Perfons perifhed, together with a great Number of Cattle.

The Enemy's Troops continue quiet. "We hear no Talk, as yet, of the March of the Allied Army, though it be ready to be put into Motion on the fhorteit Notice. Several Regiments of Prince Ferdinand's Army, which were advancing towards Munfter, received Orders, on their March, to halt. Three Battalions of Grenadiers art marched from Uflar to reinforce Luckner's Corps at Eimbeck. The Reparation of the Roads in the bourhood of Herford has been difcontinued for fome Time.

We are raifing with Succefs, in the City, a new Corps for the King of Pruffia's Service, confifting chiefly of French Defexters. Prom the London Gazette. Hague, June 5. General Sporcken took poffeffion of the Camp at War- bourgh on the 30th paft, and on the fame Day the Hereditary Prince began to encamp at Notteln and Shaap- detten.

A Skirmilh has happened near Caftej, in which the Huffars of the Allied Army had taken a Lieutenant, and fome Huffars of the Enemy, Hanover, May 29. Advices from Mecklenbourg of the 29th pall fey, that the jpeateft Part of the Pruflian Toops under the; Command of Prince Eugene of Wurtem.be.rg had joined the Corps under General Werner, and that his Serene Hjgh- Would ferve this Campaign under the King of Pruf- fia. Thefe Advices add, that the Pruffian Troops ftill Bcmained in the Ifle of Rugen; and that it was reported that the Pruflians in the Dutchy of Mecklenbourg would Sot be by the Swedes.
