Beware of Scrofula lufljohably more general than any other disease It is Insidious lu character, and manifests Itself In running sores, pustular eruptions, boils, swellings, enlarged joints, Abscesses, sore eyes, etc. Hoad's Sarsaparilla expeU ill trace of scrofula from the blood, leaving rt pure, enriched, and healthy. E. Lovejot, Lowell, Mass. C. A. Arnold, Arnold, had scrofulous sores for seven years, spring and fall.

Hood's Sarsaparilla cured him. Salt Rheum Is one of the most disagreeable diseases caused by Impure blood. It is readily cured by Hood's Sarsaparilla, the great blood purifier. M'llliam Spies, Elyria, suffered greatly from erysipelas and salt rheum, caused by handling tobacco. At times his hands would track open and bleed.

He tried various preparations without aid Inally took Hood's Sarsaparilla, and now says: I am entirely well." "My son had salt rheum on his hands and on the calves of his legs. B. King -left yesterday for California. Several of our industrial works have closed down until after the 4th ot July. Ihe electric belt doctor is still with us and gives nightly entertain mcnts. mi rr ine vvasuinston nre, company will lunch its guests in Franklin hall.

The City Gray will be here tor sure. The patriotic choir had a grand rehearsal last night accompanied by tne lull orchestra. The grand procession will be divided off into five divisions Owing to the continuous travel to and lrom Gettysburg it will be impossible to get that ''special" from Carlisle to-morrow noon; therefore the grand procession will be de- until after the arrival of the regular. John M. McKleiu yes-tTday artis tically lettered the blinds of and entrance to Grand Arwv ball.

This town will look patriotically grand to-morrow. Ihce will be thirty floats in the trades display. Extra policemen will be on duly to-mortow, who will "put a head" on rampant rowdyism. Mam street is being put in clean and smooth order, but that rank growth of weeds still rankles at Market and Keller streets. Perhaps it is intended to halt the procession at that point and give the visiting delegations a chance to note the many rankled varieties.

The carnival is getting into great shape and will be an illuminated grandeur. Of course it will be headed by a band of music. All our dry goods stores are well supplied with flag and bunting material. Last year the demand far exceeded the supply. That tue celebration to-morrow will be a large and enthusiastic one is bevond dispute.

The elements, or better, Old can alone pre vent an overflow of. patriotism. Give us good weather and Mechan icsburg will have a great, grand, glorious demonstration, one tuat will not soon be forgotten. The ball will open with the ringing of the bells at 4 o'clock in the morning. This will be followed by singing by the patriotic choir and other services on the square as per the following programme: iscng btar bpangled Banner.
